Here's a fantasy thought....
Big Sam has big ego. He is on a hiding to nothing at West Ham if he fails to get them up. He is losing his players by the week there including Parker now going to Spurs very likely.
Was Big Sam the man for the job at City? Former player returns with big name credentials, investment of 10m or so promised in the team, stadium rights being bought, Olympic fervour about to place a spotlight on the Ricoh and with such enourmous interest from the press may have seen the club rise from it's slumber?
Are Leicester not doing pretty much the same thing with ex England manager Sven and bags of cash?
