And all this talk about "the trust" is misleading, join the trust and YOU are the trust, not me, Michael Jan etc. it can only work if Coventry fans make it work. The trust is just a name, a legal vehicle to make it happen.

Im just saying that they are owned by the fans however you next point yes they have a massive debt look what they have achieved their debt proportionaly is miniscule to ours and weve achieved nothing. If Barca were to go pop their would be another civil war in Spain if we go under people will say so what even in this city. Time has come to make a stand join the Trust and try and make that stand collectively or give up think of all the excuses you can for not joining and watch OUR club die.

Of course fan-ownership doesn't work. Don't you know that most Bundesliga clubs are about to go out of business? Fans own 51% of each of those clubs. The dozen or so Trust owned clubs here, from Wrexham to Exeter are all in deep doo-doo. And the Green Bay Packers will never make a go of it in the NFL.

If a new owner comes in will they be any better than ones over last 10-15 years or do we get serious about fan-led ownership like at Swansea and Pompey?

As daft as it sounds I don't think we've hit rock bottom yet. We don't know how pompy's fan led ownership will pan out but Swansea were on the verge of falling out the football league. They took a long time to build and lived within their means and still do. The thing on their side was fan expectations, they just wanted a club and were happy with the slow progress.

One of our biggest problems is fans expectations, many believe we are a sleeping giant which should be in the PL. many hope for a sugar daddy to splash out on wages and transfers to get us into the promised land. When mentioning funding losses, they say "football is not like normal business, owners are expected to fund year on year losses". Our fans would not be happy with slashing the wage bill, becoming cost neutral.

Green Bay Packers more Championships than any other team in the NFL last one in 2010, only the Giants have played in more finals so you're right they will never make a go of it in the NFL
