tomorrow might give us a clue as to where we might be playing next season. If our matches are away the day Walsall's are at home.....

Alan Poole and Andy turner were for some reason pondering the possibility of the Bescott on a Friday night or Sunday.

If the games are on Friday nights there will be even less people there! What's the lowest ever attendance for a L1 game?

no chance of it happening by coincidence (well the most minute of chances).

It's so unlikely it's probably never happened anywhere in the world in the history of football (in leagues with 20+ clubs and ignoring times when it's done intentionally because of 2 team citys etc)

As nothing has been confirmed yet, I can't see this making a difference. The football league themselves confirmed that they can change it to accomodate any alterations

Don't know about league 1 in general, but our lowest ever for a league game was 2050. I can see that been broken a few times next year.

Do you see some matches going over that figure?. If they do then SISU have won.

Fisher has already said it is not Wallsall. I don't believe much he says, but I do believe him on this one.

I think he also said West Midlands, so it will probably be at Rushden & Diamonds ground, they're desperate for money & have an empty ground.

Rushden is over the maximum allowed mileage.

My guess would be St. Andrews. Similar moral free owners. In a financial mess themselves. About the closest league ground and easily reachable.

2 games will be above that figure
Wolves and Walsall - albeit will be away fans and not home fans

could get some mileage from the press with the low attendance, if the first game of the season is our lowest ever crowd that could get some attention.

Thought the same thing myself. Don't think this has been mentioned on here before but with the need to keep certain Birmingham clubs' fixtures apart Friday night games must be a real possibility.

It would all add to the ludicrous set of events and incur severe problems for Home (us) and away fans ,but anyone who feels torn on this would be able to attend on Fridays and protest at the Ricoh on Saturdays. Or follow the new sky blues on Saturdays and spend Friday night in the Casino protesting and spending.:guitar2:

Traditionally, because of policing, we used to be at home with Blues and West Brom - while Walsall, Wolves and Villa were away.

everyone knows that, the point was that if it shows walsall and coventry at home on the same day its unlikely we are playing in walsall, if we are never at home on the same day as them then we almost certainly have told the fl we are playing in walsall.

Have always thought Nene Park.
The distance thing came be overcome by offering free travel.
Do not know for sure what FL rules are re this, but if no other clubs within 30m wanted to deal with SISU, league would have to rubber stamp so long as there was proof of returning to the area.

...and how on earth can the League be satisfied we've got a plan to return if we haven!t even bought any land yet, let alone done designs/surveys/local consultations/environmental impact stuff etc etc. Oh yes, and the small matter of planning permission. Great plan eh FL?

It's not just the travel money it's the time it takes. With a young family it would be pretty impossible to go
