I hope that wasn't directed at me Otis. I was his biggest fan

Defended him to the hilt when everyone wrote him off as an 18 year old.

Love the boy.

He doesn't play for us anymore so what differance does it make to us, it doesn't help us out of our mess.
Also when he was here, up until he had a good few games before he got injured most were saying he is awful and they panic when he has the ball.
Now he isn't here, people want him to be amazing, same as gunner, people were saying he never reproduced his 1st season form, now he's gone people moan how we miss him and he was great for us.
Sorry but couldn't give a shit about cardiff or there players I am more worried about the mess this club is in.

It does indeed.

I always rated the lad. Such a shame he went and for such little money too. Bet he'll go for millions next transfer out.

That's the most irritating thing how the transfer went through at such a low figure.

Didn't it have something to with trying to rush through a move for Parkin or something?

He had his knockers wingy, but people moan about players we have now without giving them a chance, you will always get them, that's one of them things, and some fans are fickle by nature, but they have moved on.
Maybe it's me but I couldn't care less how ex players are doing, they don't play for us anymore, I am more concerned with how we are doing, not how ex players are getting on (not directed at you mate by the way) just in general.

It had everything to do with SISU's pockets and nothing to do with Coventry City.

Wait, Cardiff lost. He was always too slow and injury prone, we were right to get rid.

Hudson alongside him was outstanding too, never really noticed him before. Worst part of the game is that Cardiff will be patronised as brave/plucky/etc, when in reality they were the equal to the side a full division higher.

have to say well done ben & aaron & guy, sisu should admit their crass inability in football & duly fall on the sword,
just another example of an outfit controlling a club that they patently know NOTHING about,
& yes i'll turn it around a sisu debate because they have shown what a pile of **** they are,

If only we still had him to play alongside Keogh!! Or alongside Dann with Keogh at RB!! Imagine!

Werent we also linked with another Cardiff player - Gerard - when we signed Dann / Fox? The one who missed the vital pen. Poor fella. I wonder if the Cardiff fans will make a video up about him like Leicester did when that Kermogoat fella missed the pen in a play off (I think it was)! Tbf to Leicester though, that video was class

It was the fact that Kermorgrant went for a nonchalent chip in a play-off semi final that made it so funny.

Hang on no it wasn't it was the fact that it was Leicester.

He should be given the freedom of Coventry.

Look Turner has to be rubbish Thorn never scouted him, he preferred James McPake.

We should never have sold Turner. Our Form last year dipped when he got injured. He looked like he was becoming the real deal. For me he is as big a loss as King.

It's not his fault our owners don't know how to run a football club.

When Turner left the general feeling was big shame as he's a good player who may get better but we have lots of decent centre backs - Keogh, Cranie, McPake, Cameron, Wood so its no real tragedy and when Gunnar went it was - well he had a good first year and he's been shit since so no great loss. Now they have put in some decent performances they are both world beaters that those bastards SISU gave away to line their own evil pockets. Hindsight is wonderful gift that all football fans possess in abundance. I was a big fan of Turners and am pleased he is doing well at Cardiff and hopefully will get promoted as we will get more payments for them both.

I am sure the same argument will be trotted out if Juke starts doing well at Boro or McPake at Hibs. We are a club that has been living beyond its means for decades and will always be a selling club as that is the only way to make ends meet, short of being bought by billionaires and don't see them queuing up outside the Ricoh with open cheque books.

This actually is a very sensible view. Of those that left turner attracted less attention. Also sisu would only release finds if he left. Thorn spent available money on McDonald which for this season at least looks a poor choice.

I always rated Gunnar, Turner and Juke and never bought into the "they're shit anyway, we don't need them" attitude that quite a few posters had.
