To get 3/4 each they'd need a centre midfield who aren't stood on the toes of the centre backs for 70 minutes a game. Thomas has already returned following his loan spell. He was always only going short term to cover injuries and get fit.Stokes was their player and the manager didn't fancy him. Thomas has been signed on loan from a club higher than them. For them to sign him and then not play him says something doesn't it ?/

I think Biamou will be a key provider of assists, a bit like a Rosario/Roussel. At the moment I would play him alongside Nazon, as he seems the better option
I think a goal will come for him. I didn’t think he was as much a threat yesterday as he had been in his previous two games, but then I don’t think we played our preferred system yesterday; not entirely sure what tactics were or who told us to play how we did.

Doyle’s comments about McNulty being the best finisher at the club are certainly interesting.
In the long run, our dominant defence will pay off more than any 15-25 goal a season striker could.
