Offered more in the Championship than these two over priced Donkeys.

Said this a few weeks ago and people laughed. At least he threw himself about and made a nuisance. Haji hasn't even done that yet.

And held up the ball, passed it, has a first touch and scored a few. Wasn't timid like a little mouse either.

It's the big difference between the past and now. We had players desperate to make a career for themselves and would fight to every ball.

If you look at those who flopped in recent years, they all seemed entitled and had previous history. Todd Kane, Waghorn and Walker stand out.

We seem to have recruited players with fancy agents and someone who creates Instagram posts for them.

Give it a rest FFS.

In the grand scheme of things, they're both in their infancy as far as their Cov careers go. They both know how to score goals but both are obviously devoid of confidence - hopefully Simms will have gained some last night.

I liked Biamous efforts and he scored some important goals but Simms and Wright are both superior players to Biamou.

And that's the point. They have more ability in their big toe than Biamou had.

Agreed...but also everyone hated Biamou while he was settling in as well.

So I would say this comparison does more to support that fact that they could come good with a bit of patience than anything else.

Right - and hopefully with more support from the coaching team and the fans will give them more confidence. They're obviously talented.

Wright has shown a talent for rugby with how many efforts he's cleared miles over the bar up to this point.

He's an international striker - he's obviously having a stinker at the minute to be fair.

Why would anyone pay 4/5m for a total flop in the championship?

Toys are being thrown out of the pram left right and centre on here. Wright’s had a poor start but goalscorers are all about confidence, which he’s obviously not got yet.

People saying he’s a donkey are clueless about football imo. He looked good in his early appearances, pressure seems to be getting to him now.

It’s not even the missed chance, laziness to be offside 3 times in 5 minutes when they have a 6,9 forward up front

So is he a donkey or is he lazy? They’re completely separate issues.
