according to CWR this morning Marlon's agent has advised them that Blues have not approached him about signing for them, what he did say was that Marlon was awaiting a 3 year contract renewal offer and also 5 other clubs have expressed an interest in his services.

The plot thickens.................... Actually, I'm getting bored with this saga, and may soon lose the will to live!

I heard the same thing this morning, I assume that the reason he is waiting on a contract is due to the verbally agreed terms being different from those in the formal offer handed to him by thorn.

It wasn't a dig at you, sotv. I just want the whole mess cleared up one way or another, than perhaps we can move on - and talk about something else.

I wish Westy well, I just hope we haven't left it too late to sign up Joe Murphy if the rumours he is in talks with Donny are to be believed

We all know Westwood is gone if we miss out on Murphy on a free because of this delay It would be incompetence.

I'm beyond 'bored' with the King Saga. I'm getting into the 'angry' stage. Why is it that anything to do with the SkyBlues becomes so long and drawn out? It's awfully hot here, (31 degrees C with a high humidity factor which makes it feel like 36), which is why I'm getting a bit cranky these days....just sitting by the pool..... reading all these crazy posts on will he/won't he. It's doing my head in. Can we ban 'King-speak' for about a month so we can get our sanity back please....please.....PLEASE....PLEASE?

please dont take this personally as it is not meant that way but this comment highlights how a lot of us have an over inflated view of our club. Yes once we were a premier league stalwart but for a good time now we have been a skint under acheving bottom end championship club. We cant always presume players will leap at the chance of joining us

I dont like the feeling but we are a club standing still with no hope of change for along time, King, Westy and Gunarsson will all go along with any of Clingan, Turner, Craine or Juke to raise money to pay for the yearly running of the club. Its all abit negative but i dont see any other outcome other than the last 10 years has provided us as fans, in fact i think we could go down this time. Brighton have already spent a million and Southampton have decent backing and with all the others seeming to have the capability to spend we just cant compete.

I only hope we find some of the positives we had towards the end of last season and start to improve and attract fans and players of quality to help the club move forward.....
