I understand some people would feel shame on backing the opposition.

but also understand people who back us are a curse!

what are your thoughts on this as it’s an opportunity to cover the worst case scenario?

I will place £200 on Luton.

I had a similar bet with astute about us making the play offs. I was certain we would but like you said I had a bet to soften the blow if we didn’t. He was too tight to take the bet during the play offs though.

See no problem with this whatsoever.

Some people are being looked at as a Judas for doing so

I never have or will bet on us to win but regularly bet against us. I don’t think it’s wrong

Have seen Cov's odds are now around 2/1, that I'm sure is down to fans placing these £200+ bets!!

Will be putting 100 on Luton to get promoted.

Could soften the blow.

I had a fiver on Boro for the last two games, I'm as responsible for us getting to Wembley as Hamer is if not more so.

I'm not a big gambler regardless of what I've posted previously (5p bets won't get me a lottery sized win ). But I have the amazing ability of being able to back the wrong team 99% of the time. I've already said that I've backed against Cov since the Stoke game and truthfully I have no intention of changing a losing formula, a sacrifice for the betterment of the greater good

I’ve put £250 on Luton to get promoted. Get £207 back so ST will cost me either £293 in the Championship or £250 in the Prem. Unbelievable value.
