In the two games he hasn’t featured in this season we have beaten top of the league 4-1 and got a point away at second

Thankfully for you, Stevie G is spunking the whole of the January budget on Gus!

Evidently I’m not his biggest fan but I would happily double our money on him and get a better partner for Sheaf (who was superb again yesterday). I think atm I prefer Hamer to Kelly but you cannot question the results we have had without Hamer.

Hamer tends to be half a yard off the pace of a game which is why he gets booked so often. Either way from what I’ve heard I have a feeling he will be heading closer to Holland this year for reasons best not disclosed on a public forum.

Barring a ten minute spell that came off the back of Bournemouth going down to ten men, we were completely outplayed yesterday. I’m not saying Hamer would have completely changed that, but using yesterday as a yard stick to measure how well we do without him is disingenuous

We always look more dangerous with Hamer on the pitch. He reads and intercepts balls others don't.

Hamer is our most talented, and possibly influential player. So no, we are most certainly not better without him.

Check your likes to posts ratio and then tell me who is clueless. Clearly the forum can see I have a much better understanding of the game from you. All the clueless ones on this forum don’t live in cov and presumably don’t make many games. I’ll add you to that list

Yesterday was the most obvious example of how important he is. Before the red we offered nothing going forward and a lot of that is because we missed Hamer and his driving runs.

You only get one like for every two posts you make so half your posts must be nonsense.

Our two best results came without Hamer. I simply asked a question on a forum I even said my preferred pair is Hamer and Sheaf and you’re calling me clueless. Throwing insults because I asked a question lol. Typical of this forum

Don't get stuff like this. What does living in Coventry have to do with anything?

You can get a better picture of the game on ifollow than you can at the game, no question. Benefits of replays, knowing what player has done what etc (as long as you don't take Clive Eakins word as gospel...).

Obviously the atmosphere isn't the same but if I get the dog to bark incessantly and play crowd noise through my TV it's most of the way there. Plus when we score outside of normal time I can throw myself down the stairs like I'm really there.

james- sorry you are wrong - you get a much better picture being there - the camera follows the ball- . if you watch the game properly you can pick up the runs, positioning etc

How do you find out your likes per post ratio, not that I'm at all interested and seeking validation, merely extremely curious and want to curate my posts specifically to get more likes and zero poos.

Also, I'll be sure to @ you in the match threads when you need to know who got the assist for the 8th goal against WBA

Hamer, Kelly, Sheaf is our best mix. They need to play together more often to form an understanding. Kelly was very good yesterday and whenever he gets forward he has a knack of creating something. Did that brilliantly yesterday and a great nutmeg.
Sheaf improving al the time, getting very dependable. Can't remember his last giveaway ball now! Hamer is the grid iron you need. He will tap ankles and let you know you're in for a tough game. Has that ability to score more and would like to see him venture forward more at times. Set pieces he are very good.
