I'm half way through.

I am really enjoying it. He is such a great character. Had doubts when they announced the show, but the reviews are very good and from what I have seen so far, I think it is going to be a worthy addition to the collection.

I love that scene in the desert where they are negotiating on what punishment should be dealt out to the twins. The drugs boss wanted them both dead, cut up and ripped to pieces and Saul was suggesting two sprained ankles. :laugh:

It's really well done because all Chuck is actually guilty of is jealousy whereas Saul is committing actual criminal acts throughout, yet he's impossible to side with despite being right at every turn.

Like it, some may say a little slow at times, as was Breaking Bad, but I really enjoyed it.

Think I actually enjoyed the development of the Michael Ehrmantraut story more than that of Jimmy.

I'm going to push the boat out and say that I've enjoyed it more than Breaking Bad.....and I thought that Breaking Bad was the best series ever!

Great programme and thoroughly enjoyed it.
But I agree with Daz it's a little slow in places.
I would like to have seen a lot more of Mike in it.
Looks like a Mike Ehrmantraut spin off is what's needed, that would be something!!

Breaking Bad took a while to warm up to the top level, Better Call Saul hit top level straight away and hasn't stopped.

The pace is perfect. I don't care how quick a show gets somewhere, just how they do it. My only slight reservation is that you can't feel a great tension the times Mike and Saul get into bother as you know they're in no real danger, but then that's unavoidable and doesn't really come up much anyway.

It's more of a spin off show for Mike. He's a great character and completely steals the show. Saul is a good side story though

Have to agree with Nick here. I tried watching the first one or two episodes, expecting terrific things (after BB) but felt seriously let down. I just couldn't get into it. Maybe give it another go if you lot say it gets better!

It's just a slow-burner imo, great characters, storylines. Defo give it another go!

Stuck with it up and I'm up to Ep 10 series 1.

Enjoying it a bit more now, took a while to get used to the switching of times etc. Some of the scams are quite clever too.

I'm on series 2 Nick. Episode 3 or 4 (can't remember which), but it gets better. It was a bit slow at first but now really enjoying it. Trouble is, the missus hijacks Kodi to watch The Originals, a vampire thingy, which doesn't interest me one bit, so hence me being on here at the mo!

Just finished my Walking Dead up to series 7. Waiting for my mate to download series 7. Have Saul to get stuck into. Was a little apprehensive as I loved Breaking Bad, so I am now looking forward to this
