Rushworth did wel
Grimes doing Grimes things

Hard to really judge but Perryn and Brau looked good from the subs.

We really need a number 9.

Rushworth...quality not much chance with their goal
Bidwell....not great slow now
Thomas...okish
Kitching....not great passing poor
MVE done ok couple of good recovery tackles
Grimes....Steady needs someone better with him
Sheaf...poor passing dawdling on the ball
Saka....battled well got back too
Rudy... great poachers goal with help from Betis
Simms.... Garbage...can’t shoot head the ball or fucking control it

It was an absolute rocket. Rushworth did well to get close to it.

Swerved a lot in the air. Doubt Rushworth could adjust in time

Good job, probably would've snapped his hand clean off.

Some people on here really do fall for the most obvious wind ups

I'm surprised you only gave Rushworth a 5.

He looked good to me.

Rushworth very good & cool, the goal conceded was from a very good shot.
Brau & DaSilva work well together.
Perry looks like a top prospect in the making.
Torp fairly sharp.
Grimes a few uncharacteristic slips early doors but generally his usual high standard.
Sheaf lost the ball a few times but generally competent if uninspiring.
Saka really energetic!
EMC proved a real handful for Real Betis
Kitch & Thomas, they're going to be the regular defence, did OK.
Simms so so, no aggression or anticipation
BTA lively but to little effect
KKH nearly made a goal
MVE good going forward but struggled at times vs Betis winger
Allen, Andrews & Rapha OK but didn't stand out

I don't think he was quite expecting a shot, it beat him fair & square. Looking at his body shape you can tell he hadn't been able to launch himself towards the shot & was a tad flat footed.

Rushworth 7 - some good saves, controlled his area well and goal would have been difficult to stop.
MvE 6
Kitching 6
Thomas 6
Bidwell 6
Grimes 6.5 - usual Grimes but could he please play 10 yards further up the pitch. Or at least ahead of the CB's.
Sheaf 5 - some sloppy passing and got caught in possession too often
Rudoni 7 - Good anticipation for the goal
Saka 6.5 - decent effort, managed to get a few crosses in
Simms 5 - ball rarely stuck with him and when crosses came in he was five yards from getting on the end of it. That cross/shot was truly awful but he did manage to time his jump properly a few times.
EMC 6

KKH 6.5 - Looked rapid and got on the overlap a few times
Perry 7 - Looked very calm even when under pressure
Dasilva 7 - Good defensively and tried to get forward. Battled
Brau 6 - Decent enough effort
Torp 6
Allen 6
Andrews 6
Raphael 6
BTA 6 - Battled for the ball but that shot was terrible

It was an absolute thunderbastard of a strike but if it had been Wilson or Collins I think people would have been asking questions - rightly or wrongly.

That said, he made a couple of good saves and is going to be brilliant for us this season.

I was right behind their goal and it swerved all over the shop incl. just before it got to Rushworth. No chance that's on him.
