Just re-watching Maddison score for Leicester and this got me wondering.

Name a current team of current or ex CCFC players who you think would be the best at the present moment in time?

I'll go with

Kasper Schmichael

Christie
Dann
Hyam
Van Aahnolt

Kent
Henderson
maddison
Murphy

Wilson
Mcgoldrick

Subs

Armstrong
Gunnarson
Cork
Westwood
Norwood
Keogh (pre.injury)
Che Adams/Daniel Sturridge (though no first team games hence why left these out)

Any other suggestions?

Westwood

Van Aanholt
Dann
Willis
Christie

Maddison
Fleck
Henderson
Murphy

Wilson
Armstrong

Special Mention goes to Alex Nimley who I thought was incredible. Weird one he was. Could beat the entire team one day and nothing the next. He's currently at Kettering haha

Jack Stephens plays Premier League. I like Hyam but surely you'd pick Stephens.

Elliot Ward was miles ahead of Hyam

Already created this thread a few months ago but hey, this is my team. Th is is from when the players were in their prime, slightly unrealistic formation lol.
----------------------------Schmicheal
---------------Cyrus Christie------Jordan Willis
------------------------------Henderson------
------------------------------Fleck
---------------Adam Armstrong----Maddison
-----Baker-------------------------------------------------Joe Cole
--------------------Wilson------------McNulty
May be wrong but pretty sure Cole and baker are seeing out the careers, blowing out their arses in non league.

Not sure why some have gone with Armstrong, he’s hardly lived up to the future England hyperbole from when he was here.

If Sturridge is still playing, it has to be him

Murphy and Kent? That's a bit silly.
