Watching the Squid Game reality show and actually really enjoying it. Just don’t read the behind the scenes stuff

Also watching Devils Plan a South Korean kind of Big Brother meets the Krypton Factor. Really interesting games, and insight into South Korean culture (the obsession whinging is older/younger! ). It’s OK.

Ohh, thanks for that. I knew nothing about it and Cary Grant is just about my favourite actor ever (it's a toss-up between him and James Stewart)

Great shout Clint. Can’t believe I’d never even heard if it !

Let’s be honest there’s plenty of shit to wade through on SBT but it does throw up some little nuggets now and then !

Just finished S1. Thanks

Not sure Fran, the best character in the show is even in series 1, certainly not to the extent of later series. Peter Coonan who plays him is superb in the role.

If anyone else has watched Leave the World Behind, would be interested in their thoughts on it.

Well that was building up into a good film, then it ends, surely a sequel?
At least the young girl was smiling at the end!!

I liked the premise of the unknown threat throughout the film and the way it was framed - I just can’t decide if the ending of the girl being more interested in her own needs to see *that episode was supposed to be a metaphor of human selfishness and the rest of it is left to your interpretation?

New series of Vigil out on BBC iPlayer. Halfway through, and it doesn't have the claustrophobia of the first series but enjoying it so far

It wasn’t for me. Tbh it felt more like a play. Why they thought they needed Judi Dench in it with a dodgy Nor’n Irish accent I don’t know. Not that this was why I thought it wasn’t great.

The Winter King - don’t bother. Just wasted hours expecting some action and fireworks in this Arthurian tale. Slow and lacking any excitement.

Watched Spirited (Apple TV, or in my case IPTV) with the kids last night. Really enjoyed it. YMMV depending on your like of musicals though.

The serial killers wife on Paramount is good only four episodes so a quick binge
Also watched Seven Seconds recently on Netflix and it's a decent series (10 episodes).

Tried to watch the killers of flower moon, de niro and di caprio. It's about 500 hours long and doesn't need to be.

Fell asleep in the middle.

Saw it. Good film But my mind went numb thinking why it was so long. I’m sure I lost time as well.

After the absolute drivel of the last few series it's been good to see Doctor Who back on form and on the basis of yesterday Ncuti is going to smash it. Amazing what a difference some decent writing makes.

Good send off for Ghosts as well.

Enjoying Monarch: Legacy of Monsters for silly monster based conspiracy nonsense. Made me want to go back and watch Godzilla 2014, but I fell asleep so still not seen any of the movies.

Are the MonsterVerse movies worth it? (The new Godzilla and Kong movies)
