I watched Hallow Rd. Thought it was only ok tbh. Kinda boring. Seemed like the sort of story I’ve seen/heard before.

Turned it off terrible acting I thought.

Yeah, I persevered with it. Would’ve been ok as an episode of Inside No. 9 or something…but kinda boring.

Yeah it’s pretty gruesome in parts!

I sat on his floor watching it. The screen must’ve been like 24”!

Yep agree with this. There wasn't a great twist and didn't really strike me as something worth a film.

Just finished watching Shelter another one of Harlan Coben's creations. I thought it was decent, you didn't have to think to much to follow it through

Weapons.

What a steaming pile of horse dung.

Without doubt the worst film I`ve seen this year, a stellar cast, with a script written by a load of GSCE drama students.

Disjointed, boring, not in any way frightening or suspenseful and some of the so called scary bits, were actually properly funny.

The old lady / witch, who looked like a some old piss head, you`d find in every Wetherspoons, the Benny Hill style chase with the kids at the end

No even Josh Brolin or Julia Garner could save this mess.

The only blessing was that I didn`t waste my money at the cinema going to see it.

This film is definitely marmite, I really enjoyed it!

As said in a previous post, Hostage on Netflix was really enjoyable. Would definitely recommend to anyone who likes believable drama.
Nice to see Suranne Jones kissing a man for a change

I tried Walking Dead again from the start on Disney+ as I faded from it when it changed to whichever channel I didn't have access to. Turns out that was only part of the reason and it's done the time jump after Rick leaves and I've lost all interest again.

Finished Hostage, quite a good watch as while the plot would collapse under the closest scrutiny it flies by and has twists aplenty.

Only watched one episode but The Paper is decent. Was definitely expecting the worst when they announced a sequel to The Office but it’s got promise.

Of course that may all change when I get a few episodes in.

Nobody 2.
Rubbish but watchable. Lots of fighting. They seem to have settled on a plot from an episode of the A Team for the storyline.
Not as good as the first one.

Having somehow managed to completely fuck up my back in my sleep, the joys of getting old, I've been laid up on the sofa and watched the whole series. It gets better and better.

I was very sceptical but somehow they've managed to pull it off. There's a big enough link to the old show to be able to genuinely claim it's a sequel but there's enough there for it to stand on its own.

And it's already been renewed for a second season.

Definitely interested to see what it's like and will give it a go.
Was a big fan of the US Office but thought it went on about 2 seasons too long, especially when Michael Scott left and assumed The Paper was just going to milk it some more.

Seems to be getting positive feedback so far

The Office should have ideally ended when Michael Scott went to Colorado, there were good moments after but it felt like they were just dismantling everything people knew and liked about all the characters.

Yeah agree. Dwight carried the show after Michael left imo, but it just seemed to become mainly about getting in celebrity cameos and the storyline became more and more ridiculous

It wasn't terrible after he left but nowhere near the standard it was before and it did feel like they were just stretching it out as long as possible.

Bringing in 'name' actors was a mistake imo, if they were going to keep running they should have concentrated on the remaining characters.

Bit late to the party but binge watched Dept Q over the weekend. Scottish detective series on Netflix.
Really enjoyed it, quite funny and has some nice twists. Glad a second series is in the works as well

If anyone hasn`t seen it, all six series of Brassic are now on Netflix.

Without doubt one of the funniest and best written comedy series of recent times.

Thoroughly enjoyed the 6 part drama Untamed (on Netflix I think) Set almost exclusively in the beautiful Yosemite National Park, it leaves the 'who dunnit' to the very end and came as a surprise!
2nd series commissioned and I'll definitely be watching.

I finished it at the weekend and as much as I thought it was a good watch, I thought that the poor supporting cast badly let it down.

Eric Bana and Sam Neil were excellent in the lead roles, some of the camera work was stunning ( I actually jumped out of my seat, when the girl fell off the cliff and landed on the climber ! ), but some of the supporting cast were proper daytime tv actors and kind of spoiled it for me.
