Just watched The pact , really good drama, great cast although I’d live to know how a police officer and a woman who works on the production line at brewery can own a stunning house

The Underground Railroad. Amazon.

Fabulous. Only on the second episode, but am finding it really, really impressive.

Watched Creation Stories last night and it’s a good easy watch particularly for any indie kids out there.

If not, it’s worth watching just for Suki Waterhouse!

Army of the Dead I just watched. More amusing than spooky.

Alright. Not terrible. Not a film I could watch again.

It’s not quite High School Musical but still good though. Jonas Brothers make it

Sound of Metal with Riz Ahmed is a good watch.

Last Breath on Netflix is heavy. Not finished that yet though.

Mare of Eastwood was good ! Kate has a great rack on her sadly absent from this program ! Aside from this was a good story and excellent acting that made it real

Liverpool Narcos on Sky. Three part documentary about the heroin, ecstasy and cocaine trades in the 80s/90s. Commentary from/interviews with a few of the ex-cons who pop up in the crime podcasts. Good watch.

Catching up on some Simon Reeve. Big fan, I'm sure someone on here knew him or had worked with him.

Watching When Eagles Dare about Palace on Amazon. Finding it a really interesting watch. Having said that, if a similar programme was produced following City, I think most people would not believe our story over the passed 10-12 years!

Yeah thought it was good. Found it quite gruesome in places for 9pm on BBC.

Yeah it was depressing at the start but thought it was good and was a possible realistic (maybe!) impression of what being inside is like?

Apparently the two other eposides are on iPlayer now but going to wait until Sunday to watch them

Mate who’s been inside said it was the most realistic portrayal he’d seen. Done their homework and ensured realism. It’s what Jimmy McGovern is good at isn’t it?

Friend of mine couldn’t get his heart medication for the first few weeks in prison as he was moved around and there was no medical appointments available. Those who left him to rot couldn’t believe the treatment in some of the prisons he was in. Made me sign up to a public duty role in one of the local prisons so I could try and make things a little better for the prisoners there. I know many of you don’t agree but the punishment should be losing your freedom not being treated like shit while you’re in there

Anyone watch the Blacklist? What a load of shit this season is. Think they've 'done a Lost' and got themselves in a hole the writers don't know how to get out of.

You can't spend years spinning out a huge mythology and then keep going off at weird tangents without resolving anything. 8 years in there needs to be some resolution on the horizon.

Jimmy McGovern is so clever. Doesn’t tell anyone what to do or think but lays out both sides of the argument seemingly suggesting the two aren’t compatible and then allows characters to live within the incompatibility of ideas and facts and thoughts and encourages us to do the same.
Such a good drama full of excellent acting from beginning to end

Even Liz leaving isn't enough of a hint for them to stop making the show. Think I'll persevere to the end of the season as there's only two episodes left and they're supposed to wrap up Liz's story but doubt I'll bother next season.

Finished Mare of Easttown last night. Quality ! Heard it was a bit slow, which put me off starting it but apart from first episode (scene setter) thought it was gripping (never use that word but describes it well !)

edit - Liverpool narcos and Noel Gallagher : out of the now also worth a watch

Watched Muscle last night with Craig Fairbrass in a proper/serious role. Was decent I thought. Full on grimy sex scene made up of real life swingers half way through…. Real sex too, not simulated. Basically porn surprised Sky didn’t edit it out.
