Seeing as this thread all ready has a negative counterpart lets get a bit more positive and talk about who our best player is!

For me it would David McGoldrick but out of players we own one of Clarke, McDonald or Fleck

McGoldrick has been by far the player of the season so far ,couldnt cut it in the Championship but has always done well in League One

McGoldrick and Murphy on form. Possibly Reckord in terms of potential.

Cody needs a run in the starting XI for me to decide on him. The miss at Oldham just a few mins before the goal was dreadful. The goal was a miss on his behalf too tbf : not that I mind #win ugly

McGoldrick for me atm, but when Fleck is 100% I believe he could be class for us!

Other players who I think will do well: Barton, Jennings, Malaga, Reckord, Moussa and Bailey.

From what I seen v Carlisle + heard v Oldham, Hendo has been disapointing (bit of an understatement tbh).

Its a contradiction in terms to describe ANY of the current shower as best.

but the least awful is by far and away McGoldrick.

The others should be relegated to the dustbin of history.

people have to realise that cody is more andy cole than robbie fowler

if he plays he will get chances and he wills core 1 in 3 approx, which all means he is a good striker

Cody is our best permanent playet at the moment. But you cant look past Goldy. H'es been unstopable lately. If i could sign one of those loan players it would be Goldy. Cracking player. Murphy's been good too. On and off the pitch. I still think he should be the captain because it sounds like he's the only players with a voice, on and off the pitch. Fleck didnt impress me on his home debut but he did well in pre-season so im still looking forward to seeing him on Tuesday. Sheffers has disapointed this season but he was great last year (apart from the last 4 games) so he just needs to find his form. Majorlly impressed with Barton so far this season. He runs until he's got nothing left, which is more than can be said for a lot of the lads this season. He's the most dedicated player i've seen this season. So for me, its McGoldrick, then McDonald, then Barton.

I don't think anyone can really qualify yet. No one has played more than 1 good game from our contracted players so let's call it a draw.

McGoldrick is the only one with any consistency but he's not our player.

It says it all when this thread is so much shorter than than the worst player thread.
