The next generation by Frank Lampard.

Thanks for the memories Mark Robins but we have an elite coach now.

No need for that

It’s crazy to think after watching his performance today that he’ll be a free agent soon. If a league one team kept him fit what a signing that would be

I read somewhere we’ve got a option on his contract so if true imagine we’ll extend it and the end of the year but on your point, definitely think he would remain in this division if he left.

Got a lot to offer championship sides as he showed today

Considering Wilson and Bidwell received new deals, it seems bizarre that Allen hasn’t but I guess injuries are a worry

Yep. I was moaning at 2pm about how Haji can't play as a 9 Allen unreal. Grimes and everyone else also so good. I've only got 700 points so can anyone help me out with a Wembley ticket?

I don’t have any points but I’ll find a way like always

Said to Mrs BSB during the game just how hard every player was working to not give the opposition time on the ball. When we had the ball players were working just as hard to protect it.

Reproduce anything like that over the remaining games and top 6 is ours

If we play like that against Sheffield United and/or Burnley, we could definitely get another win under our belts.

WBA drawing v Hull was a big bonus. For their efforts against Leeds and Burnley away, they may as well have lost both games and beat Hull today. They are so inconsistent, I reckon we’ll turn them over at our place on Easter Friday.

Complete performance. Was intrigued by the way EMC and Wright swapped roles at times, with EMC moving to be central striker on occasion when Haji drifted wide. Their right-back will be crying himself to sleep tonight after being toasted by those two.

He’ll have lots of company

I suspect Allen has an extension clause so there isn't as much hurry

Torps fitness levels now are outstanding. He was always hooked after an hour under Robins

The difference between him now and the start of the season is incredible. Both in terms of fitness and what he contributes.
But I still think there's a lot more improvements to come.
A good, uninterrupted pre season working with Lampard and we could see something very special next season.

You expect it from Allen, but I've never seen Torp cover so much ground, he was relentless.

He covered a lot of ground against Stoke as well.

Anyone else see the guy on sky sports interviewing lampard last night, asked him "When did you become the Barcelona manager, that's the best I have seen your team play for a long while" Lampard laughed and said yeah we were exceptional.

Phenomenal performance. Great day. Hanging out my arse sat on a plane with a 4 1/2 hour journey ahead.

Big shout out to the Irish lad from Dundalk (I think) who was over for his first ever game. He was at the airport for 6am and then was flying back at 11pm.

Told him he either has to come every week now or never again. What a belter of a game for your first Cov match though!!

Imagine we can replicate this performance more often than not for the run in? It will mean we do get a shot at playoff success and possibly could be in the premier league next season.

So exciting

I guess Austin is working through the squad in a serial fashion. Eccles, Bidwell, Wison, Tavares done.
