Deano, I have VHS season reviews for 88-89 89-90 90-91 missing 91-92, 92-93, missing 93-94. Then have 95-96 to we were relegated.

Do you have or know if any of the missing years exist?

An out of left field question, got any footage of the mid season friendly we played against Bayern Munich in early 98?

Mine would be home 3-2 win against Man U, Huckerby goal and all that. Away would be 3-1 win at Liverpool in FA Cup, Huckerby goal and all that.

Have you got the first half against Bury? That's the most total football ever witnessed in England since Hungary came to Wembley in 1953.

Derby v City in the late 70's. We just signed Wilf Smith (or was it Catlin) and he broke his leg. It was midweek on the basball grounds famous mud in pouring rain and we won a thriller 3-4 I think? Our bus had its windows smashed in.

There was a game not long after Ndlovu joined, it could be Liverpool, in which he scored a diving header at the far post at only about two feet off the ground. I'd love to see that goal again.

Also, round about 1976, I remember seeing City beat Norwich 4-3 (or was it 5-4?) at home. Remember that as being one of the most exciting games at Highfield Rd.

5 - 4 versus Norwich - remember we saved a pen in the last minute. The days of the dynamic duo - Ferguson and Wallace.

A midweek cup game at HR to Liverpool ( a replay after a 2-2 draw at Anfield) - we lost but the place was rammed and the noise incredible. Referee missed a definite deliberate handball by a Liverpool defender. I still bear that grudge.

Since 1980 when my dad first bought a vhs video recorder I taped anything to do with cov,and collect old city matches shown on tv from footballdirectdvd which has several highlights going back to 1966
you can buy them for £4 each some last games 45 mins, plus almost every video-dvd the club has brought out

I think 15 Minute clip of various games as mentioned on here would be a wonderful idea and bring back so many memories for people young and old and the young can see who these players are we old 'uns keep bashing on about!
Very minful though that this could be quite a task?
How about a you tube channel?

Well done to you. Enjoy what you have shown already.

Another one that sticks in the memory was when Dublin and Boateng came back to HR with Villa. I think it was 1-1 and the game itself was no great shakes but the atmosphere was one of the best I can remember. The stick Dublin got was great. I've nothing but fond memories of the guy now but at the time he was enemy number 1.
