Due to being bored during the off season and a lack of interesting transfer rumours my mind started to wander and think about the best 11 that could be put out from former sky blues who are still playing. I've made two teams, one including loan players and one without (tough)

I've gone with a 4-3-3

Excluding loans:

Moore
Christie
Hyam
Rose (*shudders*)
McCallum
Hamer
Maddison
O'Hare
Tavares (really struggling for a right winger)
Gyokeres
Chaplin (who has often operated from the left)

Inc. loans:

Schmeichel
Norton-Cuffy
Stephens
Ostigard
Maatsen
Hamer
Maddison
Henderson
Murphy
Gyokeres
Kent (struggling for a left winger)

Who would you add in/remove ? Formation can vary !

Hamer wasn’t a loan?

Probably should have explained better the inc loans team also included permanent players. As it happens Hamer is the only one on the team who at some point wasn't !

Surely Ayari as a regular starter in the PL has to get in?

Another one I thought about but in the end overlooked ! Not sure about him being better than Hamer or Maddison. Potentially Henderson though !

442

Schmeichle
Christie
McFadzean
Stephens
Van Aanholt
Murphy
Hamer
Maddison
Maatsen
Wilson
Gyokeres

I’d back that team to win the championship by winning every game 22-21

Some weird shouts in there I was thinking about Lameiras but he’s not really pulled up any trees since he left us didnt progress at Plymouth, moved to Portugal and still didnt pull up any trees for an average side
