I believe Nathan Clarke who was a RB but wore number 7I'm having a brain fart - who's this again?
A Centre Back who wore No.7. For that reason alone you are justified in erasing him from your memory.I'm having a brain fart - who's this again?
Ah that's even worse. I thought he was a RB which is bad enough wearing the 7 shirt.....CB is even more ludicrous. Like Gallas wearing the 10A Centre Back who wore No.7. For that reason alone you are justified in erasing him from your memory.
I do think legend is a term thrown around nowadays but Doyle is a legend of this club due to his influence in Lg2.Was a toss up between Doyle and Fadz but I give it to Doyle purely for the shite he got us through. Would love to see one of them back at the club in a coaching role one day maybe
It was also Doyle that convinced McNulty to come here rather than I believe Mansfield. I dread to think what that season looks like without McNulty tbh.Fadz. It would have been Doyle if it was his second spell only though.
A kit from hell for the team from hell.
Guess he was the equivalent of Sheaf more recentlyStephen Hughes...Christ! I remember him. He played well in his first season to earn the bumper 3 year contract he was after, then basically was half the player we saw in that first season from that moment on. He would jog around in the middle playing simple sideways passes, letting Doyle do all the hard work. Still gives me chills. I am sure some called their partnership the Axis of Evil.
What a long way we have come. We used to battle Mansfield for signingsIt was also Doyle that convinced McNulty to come here rather than I believe Mansfield. I dread to think what that season looks like without McNulty tbh.
