Does Burnley have a cathedral?

Also I wouldn't class their accent as rare.

They changed the words to mention neither a spare cathedral nor a rare accent.

Yeah they were. Played at The Valley the season after and some div got married on the pitch at half time to a chorus of "You don't know what you're doing" from the SBA.

Forgive me if this one has ready been mentioned but one game that also stands out for having a great (hostile) atmosphere was when Dublin and Boateng came back to HR with Villa. It was a great atmosphere and the pure hatred vented towards particularly Dublin was intense.

Although it made for a great atmosphere I've never understood how two of the best players we had in he 90s could get so much stick just because they went to the Villa.

As a club we have always given good ex players plenty go grief on their return with another team. Classy.

I was never alive to see that one Kneeza but I remember my Dad and my Uncle used to say it was nearer 60,000 capacity then the report 51,455, did it seem like to the people who can remember it?

I started counting, but then we scored and they all moved
As Dadgad rightly states though, the 47 thou at the United game filled the terraces, but not the tea bar roof, the floodlight pylons, the touchlines etc etc....
Me and my mate Gaz stood right behind the goal in the Covered End (West End to you!), but we were queueing about an hour before the turnstiles opened!

You'll have to forgive me if my memory is bad but one of my favourites was against Leicester at filbert street, Fa Cup I think. We took the lead early on, then someone got sent off Boatang I think. They missed a penalty at the end of the first half, They laid seige to our goal from the moment we went down to 10 men, we scored twice at the death to win 3-0, Telfer perhaps, Whelan? Never has a 3-0 game been so nail biting and tense.

The Atmosphere at the end of the last JPT game was pretty special, certainly my favourite Ricoh moment.

i was lucky enough to have gone to wembley in 87 but apart from that one of the most memorable was away to wimbledon, vinny jones and all, when they were playing at palace's ground. We were fighting to stay in the top flight on a beautiful sunny afternoon and i remember sitting on the grass outside the ground with my 8 year old son decked out in his full kit, counting all the coventry coaches that were arriving at the ground. We completely took over one side of the ground i cant remember just how many thousand were there but i will never forget the amazing atmosphere...and we won.
