Best album for me has to be the Foo Fighters : Concrete And Gold.
And their Glastonbury set has to be one of the best ever too.
Anymore suggestions ?

Can't recall many great albums this year apart from Liam Gallaghers as you were.

Thought Liam's album was much better than Noels. Just couldn't get on with his new album, no way near as good as chasing yesterday.

I really like it but know a lot of people who feel the same as you, it was produced by David Holmes who has helped influenced his music in a completely different way from anything previous, the 1 star review it got from an Irish newspaper was hilarious, Noel even used it on his own promotion of the record.

NME has put the album by Lorde : Melodrama as their number one album of 2017. As I haven't heard much by her dont know if it's the best ?

I'll go for Damage and Joy by the Jesus and Mary Chain and The Kurt Vile Courtney Barnett album Lotta Sea Lice as my two favourites of the last 12 months.
