I can see why the officials gave the decision they did. Same did in real time look offside (agree slo mo showed he wasn’t) and ref interpreted him obscuring keepers view. Not the right decision as it turns out but I can see how it was made
As a Manchester City fan it would be easy for me to say...... it shouldn't have been ruled out...
Don't get me wrong, I think the linesman made a mistake because, in my view Sane was on-side, but here's what I don't get are we expecting the linesman to adjudge if the player is interfering with play? because I would suggest from a side angle he can't do that, ironically this type of situation would be pretty much the only time that additional official that stands next to the goal in European games might become useful.
