It occured to me earlier that Rovers might have a look at Robins as their new manager. Hope not, but you could see their logic as he is proven in the lower divisions, is on a good run, and has got north-west connections (and is ex-Man U which they seem to like in their managers (Ince, Hughes, Kidd, Berg).

If anything, the whole Henning Berg fiasco has shown what a bad idea it was to fire Steve Kean -wasn't his biggest fan but they were 4th when he left and clearly had the players with him. he took the fall for the poultry family - now I bet they wish they'd never sacked him!

I reckon Rovers will go for Sherwood first (shame he didn't go to Forest ), but it would make sense if they looked at MR.

No, it's not a joke, CC4L. The guy who has taken over hasn't any football experiance at all, he once appeared in a Bollywood footy film.

Nope, not just because he's Indian! It's been widely reported he's appeared in a Bollywood film!

They were sitting firmly in mid-table of the prem when they took over, They should never have sacked Sam Alladyce.

Sadly as long as they pass the fit and proper persons test they have a chance of buying a club, no consideration for what they are actually going to do with the bloody club.
