If we end up short in a position it's always because Robins & the recruitment team are clueless or King won't pay. Never because we've tried to make signings and they haven't come off for whatever reason.

Exactly and if we rushed out and bought anyone just to have a body in those same people would be moaning about signing players who aren't top qualitySo say we agreed a deal and it fell through on deadline day. Are we meant to rush a signing in just to appease some moaning fans?
Sometimes people at our club just can't win with some people. They are trying to bring in players to improve us. You can't force players to join us. But if they would have brought someone in to make the numbers up the same people complaining about lack of signings would be complaining about bringing in below par players.That’s part of the job though.
