If you can’t be good be lucky and Wilson certainly is he’s not a good keeper

Moore is a good keeper but lost form and was rightfully dropped he will reclaim the shirt because Wilson will do something stupid

Excellent management by robins

Yes and no - Wilson has kept 3 clean sheets in the last 3, but faced under 1 shot that should have been a goal.

if he was facing 15 shots a game he could save 14 and concede 1. Which would arguably be a better goalkeeping performance

Don't get the negativity toward Wilson
Yes he's had little to do because the defence in front of him have been excellent
But have the defence been excellent because they have confidence to take risks because they know there's a capable stopper behind them

Indont think so. We’ve gone from 3412 to 5311, I think that’s made the biggest difference.

You've got no idea if that second part is true, pure conjecture.

My pure conjecture is that I'd be amazed if they had confidence in him given the number of errors he's made in previous years.

And the fact Fadz berates him for not commanding his 6 yard box at least once a game.

I don't know what he would/could have done with the one that hit the bar
There were around ten players covering a postage stamp immediately in front of him.

Yeah exactly, it's like moaning that the Stoke keeper didn't save any of our goals.

Cors I have no idea , that's why I asked rather than stated
All i do know is that as a fan who was at Millwall and Hull, I'm a lot happier that our defence , including the keeper , look a lot more reliable now

Yep you definitely can't complain about the whole setup at the moment defensively. Whatever has happened is working.

I'm a Simon Moore fan and would have said he was the better keeper of the 2 but on this seasons performances Wilson has overtaken him as the No.1

He deserves to be in, just like the defenders do, combined effort has been brilliant, yes, some luck but also strong defensive play.
Moore made judgement errors on running to the edge of his box and dropping crosses/shots, Wilson has done less of that and regardless of x, the shots he has had to save, he has and I prefer him now to Moore.

Games do two opposite things for keepers, build or destroy the confidence, we have it right currently with one brimming with confidence, probably above his skill level but you don’t lose games if you don’t concede so long may it continue.

I think they've started to play as if he won't - at one point on Saturday Fadz facing his own goal hooked a ball out well into the six yard box - you'd expect Wilson to come for it but perhaps they've just told him not to bother that they'll deal with

Which you can get away with to a point, we did it in L1 with Marosi, we knew his limitations & set the team up accordingly.
Moore was brought in to solve this issue & did for a while but his confidence is clearly shot to pieces now & he was making some terrible errors.

Teams are definitely targeting us now with balls into the box, look how many corners are whipped in under the bar into a crowd of attackers. So far the defence has coped brilliantly.

Rotherham have scored 40% of their goals from set pieces this season, tomorrow will be a massive test.

He was poor tonight but there's no chance he gets dropped after conceding 1 goal in the previous 6 games.

Moore made mistakes in 3 consecutive games before he got dropped

It reminded me of Sunday cricket where fielders jump out of the way of the ball

Was right behind the first one. He lost all his bearings and left the biggest gap available for him to aim at. I can’t believe what I had seen.

I was going to say I’ve seen worse in a Sunday league division 8 match…. But I haven’t.

Never has and never will look a decent keeper

Moore has been brilliant in the past, I’m praying his confidence has returned because he lost the plot and had to be dropped

Wilson is a disaster waiting to happen

Fucking fuming about Super Ben Wilson in goal.

Where the fuck was he for the first one -why didn’t he narrow the angles and come towards the player.

He might as well pointed to the right hand side and shouted ‘put it there’ to the Rotherham player.

As for the second why was he so bloody slow off his line.

Just like Moore made his mistake and lost the Number one spot. Time for Wilson to move over.

The 2nd one is strange. The 1st shot is so tame but Wilson doesn't seem to make himself big.
