He smiles in training,
Even when it's raining,
It does some of our fans brains in,
Be-e-e-n Sheaf.

Some don't rate him,
Some they actively hate him,
Go out of there way berate him,
Be-e-n Sheaf

He signed for the 'cause,
'cause there was no get out clause,
In the ratings threads he gets 3s and 4s,
B-e-en Sheaf!

Don't understand why Kelly has suddenly become the whipping boy. He missed pre-season and that is often a precursor to a catch-up season and some poorer performances. See Dabo and Rose how they performed last year after being out for all the early games. Kelly used to be the first name on the team sheet. It shows how far we have come that he has to fight for a place. To say he wont play a part this season is unfair and the pass to Godden against Bristol was excellent. Some supporters need to give all our players a break; they are a unit, a team and it is the togetherness which has taken us this far. I can't think of one of our players that hasn't come in for major criticism in the last two seasons. Yet here we are punching above our weight in fifth with one point off third. Can't wait for the comments if we falter at some point in the season.

Kelly isn't a whipping boy, it's just natural progression, he's far less important now and younger players have picked up the baton.

We're a better side with a Hamer/Sheaf pairing.

Always liked Sheaf, even last season. A midfielder who can dictate a game, with a fine range of passing.

Yes, it would be a big loss if we sold him imo.
Not that I can see him going anywhere

Has to play. I've heard a few opinions that Kelly played well midweek, that may be, but he's not on the same level as Sheaf IMO.

If we can get an agreement in place with the block 15/16 drummer, I say we steal this creative original masterpiece.

I mean historically we have quite a lot. McCallum and Maddison come to mind most recently.

Where can I find stats such as errors leading to goals/chances? Do they exist to the public?

I'm not sure there is on the free providers.
footballcritic.com used to do it but not sure if they do anymore.

Tbh, they're all so subjective that they are ridiculously forgiving to the point of being practically worthless if I'm honest. It has to be a clear, obvious error solely attributable to one individual (and even then you could debate some of them). Usually most in a season is approx 3 or 4 & they're always levelled at keepers.

if we can keep Billing/Solanke quiet, we have a decent chance. Solanke flying at the moment, whereas Billing is a top player, but less consistent..

Interesting stats for a bloke getting slated earlier on in the season.

I imagine someone will say "stats don't tell the whole story"

It's basically a giveaway now that someone hasn't got a clue what they're on about if they still don't rate him.

Hamer and Sheaf are a great midfield duo at this level and picked up for under £2m for the pair. Outstanding business.

Always rated him. He was always going to be a stand out when he cut out hospital passes.

Was exceptional vs baggies. Shame rest of team had an off day.

Just wish we could do it in defence TBH. Kane looks like excellent business but Badlan seems to have a blind spot for LWBs and CBs.

@Londonccfcfan prove me wrong, we’ve not made a permanent signing in either of those positions since Rose first season in L1.
