He was Donnie’s best player when they played us at St Andrews. Blond midfielder.

Yeah. Loan with an option to buy?

Is this a Kelly replacement? Or cover

Is Robins concerned Kelly won't make the step up?

Possibly one thing we do know is Kelly will pick up injuries

Sounds like a contingency plan to me. And you don't pass up the chance to sign a player who could start in your midfield for the next 3-5 years.

Can't remember this lad when I played them if I'm honest. Hes been kept on at Arsenal for this long, he'll have something about him at least.

Wouldn't mind Daniel Barlaser from Newcastle, was the stand out player for Rotherham when we played them.

I’m surprised that a fee is being talked about. Surely we could just loan him for less?

If we can sign him, he'll be ore invested in us than a loan player and we'll still have a sell on value. No brainer for me.

£1m for competition for Kelly & Hamer in the championship for me is about right mate I think

$1m is 7 figures mate.

A six figure fee could be anywhere between $100,000 to $999,999

We have no clue what the actual figure is, could be really reasonable

Good player. Probably what we need as competition for Liam Kelly. Was considered one of the most technically gifted players coming through at Arsenal a few years back, but injuries have stunted his progress.

I feel Liam Kelly could struggle in the championship with his lack of pace, could be a factor in MR’s thinking. More out and out defensive midfielders the better.

Yeah maybe. It does appear he was around the first team/on the brink of making a few appearances for them. I guess you could say that about a lot of players that never make it.

You can't sell.him on if you loan him.

Already been stated on the thread mate this was the figure stated on the other thread by the poster.

Nope. But you can’t sell him on if he turns out to be rubbish either. I guess that’s the risk of transfers!

I’m probably still readjusting to us spending actual money on players!

Oh right. Never thought I’d see the day again when we were buying players for £1M+

Nixon is usually close. Imagine this has legs. Desperately short in dm cover and Eccles for me needs a loan out now. He's 19 and needs games.

Sheaf could be decent

Another I’ve no idea about but sounds decent. A young player to take over from Kelly over the season sounds about right. Or even start ahead of him.

Loving the quality of players were being linked with. Fair play to Joy to clearly backing Robins to a level where we can compete for the right quality.

Just imagine premiership in the new ground in 5 years challenging for top 4 we can hope anyway

This is exactly the sort of signing we should be making. A player in a position of need, with attributes we're lacking and who has had a good season at the level below last season.

Would be very happy.

I was about to post something similar to this. I’ve got ‘6 digit’ and ‘6 figure’ mixed up myself.

Can someone please clear up the question of what 'six figures' means? Is it a million?

No, it’s anything below £1,000,000 and above £99,999.

I think his brother Rubber would be the safer option.

in all seriousness, sounds like a very good prospect.
