I thought Brighton had priority over Wycombe? Is that not right?I have always gone to the early.jpt gsmes bar this season cos its cheap and i loke to see the fringe . players.
But not sure how a brighton ticket would help matters right now otis? No stubs have priority over others.

Whilst I get you point, tickets for the Brighton game would only give similar priority to people attending any home game this season, if things go that far it will more than likely sell out by then if it continues like this. I agree with you on the Wycombe game (I didn't attend as I was in Prague) but I think there was an almost universal boycott around the country of U21 teams in protest at them being in the competition.Look, I know some people haven't be able to go. Distance, work etc, but those closer to home, those who could have gone, why didn't they go to the Brighton match? Why not the Wycombe match?
It was just 2 games from Wembley that Brighton game.
For the Wycombe match, a win and Wembley beckoned. Yet, we had under 12,000 there.
Had we got 30,000 there or 10,000 for the Brighton game then so many people wouldn't be so desperately begging for tickets now.
The Brighton game attendance was just 2,085. Now over 40,000 seemingly want Wembley tickets.
I have an ST and I didn't feel the buzz of his competition until Brighton. When that game came up I got dead excited. Like I say, it was just 2 wins from Wembley.
Was so, so disappointed with the turnout for that. It was very, very low. Really thought that was the game for people to jump aboard the bandwagon.
I really hope everyone who wants a ticket gets one, but I do think there are many fans who could have taken the opportunity to give themselves a much better chance of obtaining one quite a while back.
Brighton was the turning point for me. I don't quite understand why hardly anyone else felt the same and thought 'Hey, we might be on to something here.'
Yeah, you're both right.
Would have thought Wycombe game would have taken priority over league games and Brighton game more so.
Luckily, are you sure? They suggested before the game wycombe tickets would give you extra priority for wembley but for some reason did a U-turn and said priority would be for any home ticket.
Agree with you that people who have been to previous cup games should have had priority.
Luckily I decided to get a season ticket last minute at the start of the season!
Luckily, are you sure?

You'll be lucky with that one given the resentment, cynicism and elitism on here in its various guises. They'll be plenty about nearer the time. May even get more too as the 39k was worded 'initial allocation'. No guarantee as it will depend on opponents and segregation but it's possible.
Brighton game was 3 from Wembley Otis (I didn't go and wasn't excited until after). It was Swansea next then Wycombe.
I also understand the bandwagon and have no problem with it. We've been served enough rubbish and had many false dawns, so I can understand many having reached breaking point.
I also know a guy who had a season ticket for over 30 years and not for last 2 that doesn't want to go to Wembley because of SISU. It's cutting off his nose to spite his face but I wouldn't criticise and can see why he has made that decision. The point being there will be many types of fans with no superfan status, differing reasons to attend and hope we can all come together for one day.
Sixfields attendees should surely have their allocation taken off them shouldn't they? You'll be lucky with that one given the resentment, cynicism and elitism on here in its various guises.
The human race at its worst yet probably the reality.
I'm just disappointed it couldn't been devised to be more, well divisive.
Clearly there should have been another option where First dibs went to the Sixfields fans with an allocation of 20 each.
Was trying to rise above it but had a couple now.
Ooh, that would test their faith and conviction.I think NOPM people should be offered tickets for 1p
But what about the club?I think NOPM people should be offered tickets for 1p
I wonder if ST holders are allowed to get 6 boxes each too?can get some posh ones next week Treat yourself to a special day out...
I was at work for the games. And was only at work for the last one because they brought the game forward. Happy about this though because we wonYeah, sorry, I meant going into the game that if we beat Brighton it would be just 2 games from Wembley.
£239 per ticket?can get some posh ones next week Treat yourself to a special day out...
But a good way of getting tickets to those who have recently stopped going. Nothing like a winning final to get them back again.Strange don't you think how ST holders can purchase 6 tickets each and yet the other 5 tickets barring kids are probably for people who DON'T attend games or not many, and they talk of fans coming out the woodwork and being plastic.the irony!
Its a he'll of a tightrope to walk really isn't it.
Personally I think and thought to offer Gillingham and then Swindon over previous league games was unfair.
Equally the Wycombe game ditto, those fans had shown more commitment to the Club by attending league matches prdviously IMO.
The going back on that offer has led to a sour taste.
There must be a huge overlap between all methods of entitlement.
What percentage varies from Saturday to Saturday walk up, alike with cup, pretty much every ST holder would have been there.
We have 5.5K ST's 2-3 K walk up
Match package, members and Jsb, most of whom will be ST's,plus an extra 2K approx who did attend for Wycombe.
So roughly 12K outright who have attended this season.
So getting the info out early, clearly, that a
Wycombe ticket guaranteed along with previous league stubs ensured 1 Wembley ticket per stub should have enduced a further 16K sales for Wycombe at either a fiver or tenner whether you attended or not.
By my reckoning that would have left 2-3 per ST and effectively another when using the Wycombe stub.:'(
Calista- As much as I want to blame everything on the owners I believe that you are pointing the finger in the wrong direction on this occasion.Wingy, I’m not sure I agree with all the details, but I 100% agree with your thinking. Who do we need to look after, how can we ensure that tickets go to real supporters, especially the ones whose commitment may have wavered?
Instead, they seem to have gone out of their way to sideline the non-ST fan base, the very people they need to get back on board. Far too many of the 40,000 will have no intention of watching football in the future.
Time and time again, they completely cock up the customer relations, even when presented with the absolute gift of this Wembley match.
Wingy for Chairman.
But he's not saying that the season ticket holders shouldn't be sorted out first is he? Rather, giving season ticket holders a massive SIX tickets each, which if utilised absorbs 90% of our allocation, and most likely means people who have not been to a city match in years and crucially, will not go for many years to come after this, is a pie in the face for those non-ST fans who attend matches when they can and are more likely to be "tempted" back!Calista- As much as I want to blame everything on the owners I believe that you are pointing the finger in the wrong direction on this occasion.
By the way I am in the same situation as you regarding tickets but surely this is not about customer relations as they have prioritized their loyal fans and their friends and families? It is correct that the deserving season ticket holders that are sorted out first.
You are right that the occasional match goers and the lapsed are at the back of the queue and may miss out but that is the chance you take if you are not a season ticket holder. You can't blame the owners for not focusing on those that don't go. By definition somebody who has wavered is not a real supporter.
Also wait until we know what the ticket situation is come early March as there may be enough tickets to go around and then nobody can complain.

Rather than be clever and use the opportunity to repair the fanbase, again they've cocked it up and just gone for sales. I know it might look like im just bitter and bitching about not getting a ticket yet, but I'd feel the same way about it if i was a ST holder.
