Lots and lots of ale.

London is pretty special in terms of variety and selection of real and craft ales.

We're starting around Farringdon and working our way in for 1/1:30 ish for a few around the ground to soak up the atmosphere.

Everywhere is going to be full of Cov and I can't wait.**

**as long as all those who can't handle their beer and want to fight the world stay away.

Some good ones around Farringdon. Popping in a place near KingsX - real ale spot

Yea, you definitely can't have bud or corona. Have you ever tried Brewdog Vagabond Pale Ale - it's a gluten free beer and really good. Brewdog Punk IPA is also GF (although it's not advertised as such) and is even better. Both are available in most places these days, especially London.

Another beer called Daura is also available in most places these days, although I've never tried it it's supposed to be a decent GF larger.

Thanks for the info. I have bud and corona oush comes to shove and i feel ok. Maybe a few burps with bud. But i know i shouldnt have it strictly speaking

I get daura from tesco. Its good for ehen have drinks st home

so budweiser, corona or cider for me.

and even those first 2 maybe i shouldnt really have.

although we will be in london so maybe they will have gf beers in bars?

I'm coeliac. Budweiser and Corona are not gluten free. Do you not get any symptoms when drinking it?

Agree wholeheartedly, Brewdog Vagabnd Pale Ale is the daddy of GF beers. Sky Blue (ish) label too.

Yes, they're both really good places to drink! The Craft Beer Company in Clerkenwell has 20 odd taps on so is a favourite of mine in that area!

They are below 20ppm which is the gf limit in uk

However in australia its 3ppm max so im aware inshusnt really have it

Corono i seem ok with. Bud sometimes gives me.bloating and gas.

But no severe symptoms like when i eat something with gluten in it...well not so far anyway

Fresh from France I will be in The Euston Flyer and / or Dolphin (opposite Euston-St Pancras stations) for a bit late morning. The Flyer is spot on for real ales - between £3.50-£4.50 IIRC. I'll be wearing a Cov shirt can't waaaaaiiiit

£5.20 for a Carlsberg last time I was at Wembley and yep its piss poor. they do real ale there now for the same price but didn't get chance to try it as I was in rounds and didn't want to queue up twice as its a separate kiosk.

As long as it's a lager that's not Carling Carlsberg or Fosters I'm happy.

Like Westcountry since I moved to Bristol I mainly drink cider but it will ruin my insides if I have another all dayer on it.

I'm a beer snob but despite that how do you get drunk before feeling way too full when it's so weak.

Mixing drinks can help.....

I seem to have the capacity to drink and drink the stuff without the bloat. Is that lucky or unlucky?

Read the post and thought I might be coming across as a bit of a ' I can down it all and never get pissed, proper drinking hard boy giving it large' type person. Chance would be a fine thing, but age and responsibilities has slowed me down a lot

I expect we'll see a few not make it through the turnstiles.

I'm starting in the car with a bottle of bucks fizz. It's got orange juice so its basically breakfast.

Can you still get Carling Premier? I used to drink that because regular beer bloated me and I could never belch on command. I've learnt that most holy of skills since.

Yeah can still get it in cans.

I remember when the pubs used to sell it, it's now a "take your picture moment and text everybody" if you see it on tap now.

It was always that little bit more expensive too, felt like the Sultan of Brunei when I'd ask for one.

£5.20 a pint inside the stadium I believe (robbing gits!)

And seen a tweet saying pubs around Wembley closing 1 hour before KO? Thought that was odd?

They did for England v Scotland, but didn't know if that was a one-off, seems not. Best to ask at the bar to ensure you're not caught out...

I don't drink it, but you can get it on tap at the Lord Clifton in the Jewellery Quarter - great pub.
