OHHHH FUCK
That's spoilt my bloody weekend now. How the hell will we survive this cataclysmic event
So does this make Chaplin the designated replacement for Beavon.

Note the blurb says "forward" rather than striker

I think it is just Vincenti now, although if he's injured still I can't see him being taken by somebody else on loan or signed.

We need a 20 goal striker to fill the void

But seriously best of luck to him. He helped stop the ccfc hoodoo with his goal in semi and his hard work in chdcktrade final. One good thibg slade did. Thanks 4 the memories!

At least it can stop all the bollocks about him being happy to fleece us sat in our reserves.

Good luck to him, glad to see him playing rather than sitting in the stands.
Their fans seem ecstatic about the news
Would guess we're still paying a chunk of his wages but any saving there is good news. Not like he had any chance of getting in the team.

To score 15 by January and our fans begging for him to be re-called.

Is Ricketts their manager?
Good to get him out and free up some funds even if we are still playing a % of his wages!

We need to sign an injury prone striker who can’t score goals to replace him ASAP!

The guy must be wrong, there's only one club in the FL that doesn't spend every penny it brings in on transfer fees.

He must have got a lot of goals early in that six years because since he has been here he has forgotten how to score, this is the best news of the summer so far

Didn't realise his injury was a metatarsal in his index finger.

My Coventry Telegraph Facebook/Coventry City Facebook comments bingo selection:

“F*****g SISU, getting rid of our players on the cheap!”

“I’m now going to tear up my season ticket” this despite not having had a season ticket for over 15 years

To be fair to the fella, he performed as expected. We knew he wasn't a goalscorer when we signed him.

Good luck to the lad
Really hope things work out for him and Sam Ricketts who is a thoroughly decent bloke
This probably explains why Beavon didn't feature in the game v Tamworth as planned

Agree with a few others. Didn't really work out for him here but good luck to him. Remained professional rather than throwing his toys out of the pram.
