If we can’t afford sheaf we have no chance of Walsh who will command a higher fee & wages reportedly on 12k up there

What do young lads get outside of the squad at Prem club's .
Didn't Grealish get reportedly around£11 k while he was on loan at County?

Arsenal don't often declare contract lengths but he signed his pro contract in 2017 so I'd be surprised if he has more than this season left on it.
If that's the case, I'd be surprised that they would loan him out.

He's obviously reluctant to let the dream die.

Loan is plausible then, still think they'd prefer a permanent deal to maximise any fee so loan with view to perm possible.

Not at all. In the last championship season we lost our Star keeper, top scorer and top creator and replaced them with Chris Dunn and Joe Murphy by this time.

We’re far further than we were then

I thought possibly a loan maybe he doesn’t fancy the move here Not having a ground doesn’t help in these situations

If that's the case why have we signed hamer and O'Hare (arguably better players than him) I really don't think it's down to the ground and more to him taking his time and judging his options, especially in these uncertain times

Come on, you’re better than that.

There’s zero need to panic; even if we went into the season as is I’d back us to stay up.

The pessimism on this forum is getting to people.

Based on what? As far as we’re aware it hasn’t been a reason for anyone else.

Not pessimistic - but a bit nervous, although that'll settle down when we sign a couple more, and when my meds kick in!

Evening the key words here are

“As far as we are aware”

We hear what they want us to hear who knows what targets we’ve had

Seriously wtf people

How am I panicking? I put a lol at end of sentence for crying out loud

I am saying it be nice to see some people in as thin squad at the minite and in a harder league

Nowhere have I called for anyone's head regarding recruitment or said we are relegation certs etc

I simply saying squad thin and like to get some over line before season starts

I don’t tend to use lol, but I’m not sure it negates the words before it? In which case your post implies you were panicking as it reminds you of our last Championship pre season (which was terrible I 100% agree). The fact you’ve just mentioned you did mean we should strengthen our squad in your reply, also infers you did mean part of your statement at least.

I didn’t suggest you were calling for people’s heads or we’re doomed to relegation. In fact, it’s actually a compliment of sorts by saying you’re usually better than pessimism.

And I intentionally used the word ‘people’ as while I quoted your post, the point about pessimism wasn’t specifically directed at you, just a general statement that the forum seems quite pessimistic (in my view).

I am not pessesmistic. You hsve taken the post the wrong way

We would have a fighting chance regardless but i do not feel this would be the way robins wants to go into a new season as it stands so agree with OP good to see people come in
