Coventry City midfielder Billy Daniels has completed an initial 28-day loan move to League Two side Cheltenham Town.

The 19-year-old, who made 23 appearances for the Sky Blues this season and scored three goals, will join Mark Yates' side in time for Cheltenham's away trip to Hartlepool this weekend.

It's good for him to get out and get some games.

Great move. Thrown in the deep end with us and one who do thought highly of. Great start for him but as we have struggled, so had he and we have to remember he's very inexperienced. This will help him substantially. I'd have loved burge to go out as well

Yep good move for him and Cheltenham have got a player who is not completely wet behind the ears. Daniels plays in the sort of positions which require you to know the game and at his age and level of experience that's currently impossible. As long as he continues to progress he will be a decent player for us.

Never been much of a fan. When he covered the first couple of games following Bakers suspension I thought he looked decent. But unfortunately for him, it's gone downhill for him since then.

Ive been quite critical of daniels but he was thrown in very early and probably surpassed expectations in his first few games. His form hasnt been great since so some game time will do him and us the world of good.

We've loaned out two players who have not featured for a while and bought in 3 players who will. Your disappointment is almost visible - you were desperate to loan out some experienced players.

Instead you just sound stupid.

At least these loans say the club intend to avoid relegation this season.

To be fair to Daniels, this season he's generally been forced to play out wide, left and right. Not his natural position (or so I'm led to believe). Hope he gets some games in the middle of the park, we'll need him next season.

Also, did this post match interview take place in a zoo? How much back ground noise?
