Live FA cup football on the BBC next weekend, you watch the BBC bottle it and beg Lineker and co to come back.

When you say bottle it, you mean admit they made a massive mistake?

Couldn't give a shit. Hate the BBC and Lineker in equal measure. Would prefer the Talksport lot to take over MOTD mind

Put my Stone island cap on to respond because I thought it was about Sheffield United’s firm. I’ll put it back in its Marmaris gift bag.

The difference between 1930s nazi Germany and Britain today Mr linaker is if you said anything against the Nazis in those times you would be in a ditch with a bullet in your face , he may want to remind himself of that when making ridiculous comparisons.

Snowflake lol. Surely the only snowflakes are the Tory MPs and right wing press that threw a wobbly because of Linekers tweet. The Gammons are far more easily offended than the "woke".

Was still a stupid fking thing to say given what people are like. He knew what he meant and it backfired. Tough shit. The BBC and Gary are a match made in heaven for spouting divisive bollocks. Let them crack on

Personally, I think if anyone noticed any similarities between ourselves and Germany's descent into fascism, they should just not say anything as everything is bound to be okay...

If we were getting a bit too nazi-like, I'm sure the vast swathes of people that can't even read a tweet properly would notice and protect us.

I‘m not sure Loinaker thought this through. He doesn’t need the money, must love the job, yet doesn’t want to keep things simple. Maybe the BBC should offer him the chance to go out and prove the points he makes? He could meet those who genuinely need help and those who are economic migrants. Like the 20 year olds pretending to be schoolchildren?

Lineker: it’s ok to use your platform to air your views, claim you were racially abused because you had slightly darker skin whilst growing up in Leicester (?!?), calling USA a racist country (he’s fronting the BBC, a U.K. public institution, not a private network and the USA are our allies) and now this Nazi Germany thing that we are Nazis for stopping the boats.

Ok.

Fair enough. Still went to Qatar though and took the money. Mr virtuous.

The double standards brigade are out in force. He’s allowed his views and all that. Not everyone agrees with him.

Matt Le Tissier? Airs his views, cancelled. Rightly. It’s the BBC. Be impartial.

I’m not saying I agree with Le Tissier, but I don’t think our “impartial” public broadcaster should support a front man who insists on making non-impartial political statements.

Why would he need to prove that the used on immigration is similar to the language used in 1930s Germany (and other places) to dehumanise Jewish people. This is what he said.

This isn't really up for debate as it's a historical fact.

John Barnes puts far better than me in an interview with Sky.

Why is it people don’t realise that the Nazi’s didn’t get in and go straight to genocide and invasion of other countries. It started with language and raising paranoia and hysteria. It was six years before WW2 started and the extermination camps didn’t start until 1942. The language was around for six years, six years of brainwashing, six years of conditioning, six years of desensitising and legitimising a mind set before the Nazis had the fully compliant country they wanted. It seems our country isn’t as naive as the German population was after WW1 to think that hatred is an answer.

What's wrong with being an economic migrant? God forbid people coming over here, fulfilling the gaping labour shortages and contributing to the economy

Where did he say "we're Nazis for stopping the boats"?

I'd just like to caveat this by explaining I am by no means Linekars biggest fan.

I'd argue that the dehumanisation of Jewish people started in the Weimar republic before the Nazis were in power.
