Can someone clarify, does the new broadcasting deal with TalkSPORT and the BBC mean the end for Oggy and Clive? It does read that way to me….

I think that is referring more to live national commentaries and not local

Yes it definitely is but with the confusion over the replacement service for ifollow etc it really isn’t clear to me if BBC CWR will retain local/iFollow commentary rights.

I had a memory that Local BBC rights were contracted until 2027 but I’ve no idea if I’ve just dreamt that.

Didn't Talksport get into trouble for claiming to be commentating live from Euro 2000 and it turned out they were watching it on the telly and just commentating from a hotel room?
