Have just posted it on the match thread, but probably a good idea to have it as a separate thread.

What a crock of shit that article is. Not a single mention of wasps throwing us out and reasons why we are not there this season. It’s why a genuine change is required in the fans voice. It’s begun but we need to go further and louder and get national media involved and local media on point

Neil is worried about us losing the 'next generation of fan' by not playing in the city.
Is he as worried about Cov Rugby losing the next generation of fans by being over shadowed by the new shiny intruders with ZERO links to the city it invaded?!?!

The more it gets talked about the better. No mention of Wasps is irritating!

Another opportunity missed by the absolutely shambolic, two faced, joke of a "supporters trust"
Can anybody get hold of the bbc to take it down due the the massive inaccuracy where it says the trust represent 2700 fans!!
Fuming. Absolute piece of trust bollocks.

In bold sisu failed to get rent deal, bollox. They got one but the insects changed it put indemnity clause in. That’s the real reason it failed.

People of twitter just retweet our statement with or without the trust paragraph and repeat the mantra

wasps threw us out
They need to remove indemnity
Sisu ccfc need to assure no more legals against wasps
Media need to stop misleading as this article does
Give email so they can get in touch through sky Blues Talk.

Shock, the trust telling half a story.

The funny thing is they claim they can't see why people have an issue.

You guys need to stick to the facts here. Not your theories as to why people have done what they’ve done. Anti council cranks are ten a penny and not newsworthy. If you’ve got proof, prove it, you’ve already got a credibility problem by being anonymous internet users. Charging round calling everyone out may feel good but it won’t get you anywhere that doing it on here hasn’t.

Just my 2p

The funny thing is, the only person who's close to calling people scabs is involved with the trust.

That's ironic isn't it? Maybe Dave forgot to mention that bit?

The council stuff? I haven’t said that to neil just stuck to our statement stuff. Sorry was just incensed by the article. I agree about sticking to what we know and finding out the rest as it becomes clearer. And with a cool head all I would hope is that wasps get a mention for the indemnity clause being put in and someone asks them why

I can't remember seeing much scab stuff this time around. I'm not sure Dave is good with facts, he was the one saying he won't go to games while going to games.

They aren't bothered about misleading people.

Nice one!

Your statement is completely impartial and for me represents most Coventry fabs' view over the garbage on the BBC article.

Hopefully you'll get a response

Good to see the chairman of the Trust saying he doesn't go to games. Him and Neil must have accidentally forgotten about the indemnity again.
Having boycotted games at St Andrew's, will Eyles go if Coventry force a draw against Birmingham - and are officially the away team in the replay at the same venue?

"I'll more than happily go there as a visiting spectator - not when we are the home team," he said.

Every time it is brought up that the Trust don't target Wasps they claim its all a misunderstanding and things will change but yet again, and in just a matter of days, they've shown once again that isn't the case.

Quick question for St Andrews attendees, anyone been called a scab? Remember some throwing it around at Sixfields but not heard it directed at anyone going to Brum.

Each to their own and all that but saying you will attend St Andrews in a replay and not the home tie is just plain childish.

There's more to life than CCFC, it's not like the miners strike which really did break up families.

Sixfields and St Andrews are two completely different scenarios. I could possibly understand having some stick going to Sixfields but this time I praise any fan that supports the team in Birmingham

To be fair, he was also saying he wouldn't go to the Ricoh but did so I would take it with a pinch of salt.

Yeah. It doesn’t feel the same level of animosity as last time. This, and the reasons for this, should be highlighted.

This is because people like Neil and CJ seem to think everybody is stupid.

You have CJ with his bulging bank account because of the council and Neil with his PR old boys club from being the editor of a newspaper calling forum users idiots.

They don't realise people can see straight through them and that they are just talking shit to stop people asking questions.

"I've been a season ticket-holder for 25 years but I don't believe in supporting the club in any move that takes us outside the city," Eyles told BBC Sport. "It's heart-wrenching to see."

Not heard it once. In fact, I don't know anyone refusing to go to SA on principle. I know people going a lot less, but none that are boycotting. I suspect it is a very small number.

Went on and added some comments about Wasps kicking us out, CCC being hell bent on selling to them and referencing the poll to say the SBT don’t represent us. There is a limited word count so couldn’t elaborate. Would have liked to add that SISU are far from blameless

There was a thread on here about investment by the council into sports and he said "the council invest a lot, my business bank account shows that" or something along those lines.

I mean fair play to him, he is doing well with his business but he's hardly going to speak out about them is he? I wouldn't either in that position.

Leader of the Trust doesn’t go to Home games....

Has had a season ticket for 25 years-does that include the Northampton season then....

Another giant ball of piss stained spin swallowed whole by the BBC.

In the trusts defence this article probably was interviewed when the draw was made and probably before this whole indemnity shit storm with the trust/SBT started - still frustrating - but let’s face it, nobody outside of Coventry gives a shit anyway
