Anyone been? If so, is it any good?

Been open a few months now I think. It's in Bayley Lane (obviously), next to the old cathedral ruins just across from the Establishment

Had a peek in on Sunday and it looks quite busy.

I went there a few weeks ago Otis and would definitely recommend.

The menu is quite select, but I think that's preferable to reams of choices.

Not been Otis, but want to check it out.

I actually quite like that bit round there. The Establishment isn't too bad at all.

Lovely place, the food isn't brilliant, but not at all bad. Been to the Establishment three times now.

Cheers, Armybike!

Will give it a whirl.

Only complaint I have personally heard about the Establishment came from my cousin and his wife, with them saying the portions weren't big enough.

Took that on its own merits though, because they both make Eric Pickles look like he's a real slim Jim.

Been to Bayley Lane once and will return for sure, really nice little place, great views, good food, proper decent chef who cooks in an open kitchen.

It's where the Newt and Cucumber was back in the day.

Yep. On the corner opposite the Golden Cross. Just across the road on the other side is the Establishment.

I've been once and it was quite a nice atmosphere, but the food wasn't amazing.

I might give it a go myself. I believe the Golden Cross is due to be refurbed. With the post silly door policy Browns, Ivy House, Castle (Varsity), Establishment and this place, that area of town is back to being number 1 place to drink. Just need some investment in the Courtyard.

Used to love the courtyard, just a shame it's gone to wreck and ruin.
Not sure what they could do to restore it

When you say Dive, what was the proper name of it?

Godiva - something?
