Ahead of Posh v Coventry, Saturday, 12 April, kicking-off at 3.07pm, we compare two exciting young goalscoring talents clash at London Road on Saturday when Posh take on Coventry.
Britt Assombalonga, Peterborough United, by Alan Swann:
SHOOTING POWER
Let Britt run at your goal at your peril. He has dynamite in his right foot and he invariably hits the target, as an astonishing 30 goals this season proves 8
PACE
Every team Posh play against operate a deep defensive line. That’s because opponents are scared of Britt’s speed off the mark. He’s uncatchable when in full stride 8
FINISHING
Britt has scored all sorts of goals this season which is the mark of a top striker. He’s bashed them in from distance, he’s deadly one-on-one with the keeper and he claims tap-ins 9
HEADING
Britt didn’t score with a single header until January 21 - his next three goals were also headers. It’s not a strength, but it’s not a weakness either. Doesn’t win many in open play 7
TECHNIQUE
This is an area that requires work. Britt is twice the player when facing the opposition goal than he is when facing his own. His ball control and link-up play are weaknesses 6
WORKRATE
Britt can often be static when his midfielders are looking for him to make a run. However more often that not he puts a good shift in and keeps defenders busy 7

SHOOTING POWER
Wilson tends to rely on placement rather than power but goals such as a recent blast at Crewe shows he can belt it when necessary 7
PACE
Devastating. One of the fastest players in the division as Posh found out to their cost in December. Once he’s gone you can forget about catching him. 10
FINISHING
Improved immensely throughout the season, Wilson is capable of striking from either foot and is lethal in one-on-one situations. 9
HEADING
Difficult to say as Coventry don’t play with traditional wingers so not many crosses make their way into the box. Can’t remember a headed goal from him all season. 5
TECHNIQUE
Forced to modify his game when his partner in crime Leon Clarke left, Wilson’s excellent control, passing and dribbling have seen him continue to prosper 8
WORKRATE
Pressley demands a high tempo from the entire team and Wilson does his share, working angles and harassing defenders for 90 minutes 8
