How was he yesterday ? Saw him against brentford and he put in possibly one of the worst performances iv seen by a city player for a very long time. Was surprised Pressley stuck with him, did he repay the faith ?

For a lad playing out of position, he did very well. Thought he offered us a lot, always looking for the ball and to keep the ball moving.

Considering he played in the same position last week and was pulled off at HT as it wasn't working, for him to start again in the same position and perform that well I think is credit to him, and credit to SP for not just dropping him for the game, which for me would have been an easier option

Fair play, hope this run in the team does him well, he looked out of his depth last week but, as has already been mentioned, he lacks not only match fitness but match practice. SP knows what hes doing so i guess its just a case of waiting and seeing.

Said it on a different thread , he did okay yesterday , I think that position itself has been a problem all season , Daniels did well there for a couple of games , Baker has struggled in there , moose did a nice job in there for 45 minutes when switching positions with Baker one game too
Barton terrible there last week as was manset second half

The set up we have , it's almost a redundant position , we have played well for most part of the season with serious failings in our wide midfield positions ( moose included) , it's almost as if we need a more defensive wide player to allow the full backs to do their thing whilst fleck and Thomas do all the creative passing through the middle

Footballers are spoilt nowadays. In my day we just used to get half an orange.

Unfair to judge him as a right midfielder when he was a central player. I like Barton, just needs an extended run in the team in centre Mid if or when Thomas or Fleck get injured/suspended.

We had to suck on the trainer because we couldn't afford a sponge.
