It was a super strike. The technique was superb, just stroked it towards the corner. So often you see players at this level try and lash it from there and the ball ends up flying into the crowd.
Out of the two home games i have watched so far, he has been the one who has impressed me the most. Great control and skill, good pass and wonderful shot as displayed today. Think we really have a gem with Barton and hope he continues to impress
Great player! Anyone else made the comparison/resemblance to Kaka? Haha! The hair, the height and the way he runs and dribbles with his hair bouncing along just remind me so much of him. Obviously a watered down version should we say!
