Excellent video.
Coventry had a manager like that in 1956 - George Raynor.
My father said he had us playing the best football he could ever remember.
He was way ahead of his time and CCFC did not understand his methods.
He left us after 5 months to become manager of Sweden, whom he took to the World Cup final in 1958.

It goes to show what you can do with ambition and high standards. Really like the idea of ‘non-negotiable’ parts of his system.

It’s pretty random as he then left Sweden after two years and managed Skegness

He had actually been managing Sweden for years and seems to have mixed it in with club management on the side.

He pretty much left in 58 and went to manage Skegness and had a job at Butlins
