Ah. Great day out that was. Bar the football, of course. All's well that ends well though.

I seem to recall I had a profound state of over-refreshment visited upon me. Ahem...

We have 6,000 tickets. So anyone going to Sixfields for 3 games this season can go with the full backing of NOPM. If we draw Aresnal, Chelsea etc. should we win then a season ticket at Sixfields is no worse than any that go to both cup games.

supporting NOPM and attending away games (especially cup ties) is just like wanting your team back in Coventru yet attending games at sixfields hey nick?

NOPM is virtually impossible. That doesn't mean you can't support it in principle.

Next you will be calling the jimmy hillers names? give it a rest.

No, fair play to the hillers, they are committed. I'm not making a point saying I won't give a penny, even though I haven't and then handing then money.

My theory is that because I'm not foaming at the mouth, being outraged and posting sisu out you don't like it and start name calling because somebody doesn't agree with you, much like your over the top support for Andy Thorn.

Bullshit. Only a week or two ago you said that you haven't given a penny to SISU this season, but you go to Sixfields. You quite literally made the point that you weren't giving them money...when you have.

And there we have it, the last resort Grendel-approach of invoking my support for Thorn! You'll find that I was one of the first people to say that the signings at the start of last season were piss-poor and I didn't argue with his sacking. My support for him was mostly over the relegation season when he was completely shafted. But at no point was my posting style WUMy like yours is.

What pisses people off about your change of style is the plithy little remarks, the rants about people expressing their opinions when you deem it inappropriate, the "what? Me, guv?" Mr Innocent tone that you take when people take the bait. You are incredibly patronising and condescending where once you were polite. It's classic WUM behaviour, but because your username is a nice bright orange, it stands out even more than the usual suspects.

Sometimes you do comeback with a bit of a climb-down, as if you're lobbing hand-grenades of hate into the debate and standing back to watch the explosion. That's my original point-I didn't call you a wanker, I said that I thought you were deliberately cultivating the persona of a wanker to cause a stir and provoke more activity on the site. More activity=more advertising, I assume.

I don't need to lob any hand grenades of hate, it is called having an opinion.

It is ok for people to foam up and blame sisu for everything but if somebody points out they are wrong and says why it makes them a wum?

It's annoying how you become a wum simply because of a different opinion, if I was literally posting nopm and sisu are wankers I'd stir up a like frenzy.

Do you really think I need to stir up anything? All it takes is somebody to make a post about doing Christmas shopping and it turns into a sisu hate fest somehow. It doesn't need any winding up at all.

Maybe I do get a bit patronising but after having to read every single thread turn into the same old boring crap with people who are only happy when they are moaning or only come on when we lose or only come on to post in every thread that they won't ever go to sixfields then that does get tedious.

There is a pattern that some of the people who backed thorn to the hilt also hate sisu the most.

As a Hiller and an away supporter I am giving them money correct.
However I will never give them money for an Northampton match or any other ground they decide to call home if it is not in the City.

But you and a few others seem to have a big problem with City fans who try and make some sort of stand, that is the main reason that we are fucked...

Making a stand is not watching the game 35 miles away free of charge or 6,000 fans handing over £40,000 plus in admission fees when they state NOPM as a motto.

Making a stand would be buying 6,000 tickets to preserve the allocation - no one attending - and all 6,000 burning their tickets outside the F A on the day of the match.

I think you might find that a tad more effective.

I don't have a problem with people making a stand, now that the bandwaggoners have stopped going to the hill who seemed to be the ones causing problems I have said every game fair play to the people on the hill for coming out in the freezing cold winds.

I don't have a problem as such, it is just when people get all rabid and worked up saying they won't give SISU any money ever again, they won't give them a penny, NOT ONE PENNY MORE, SISU OUT, let's starve SISU of money so they have to bring us back and then give them money.

It would be far more effective and if they won and its a bigger game like old Trafford it would be extremely effective.

Travelling 35 miles to see a game that people are protesting they do not want to travel 35 miles is just pointless. Claiming the mission is to starve sisu out and then giving them money and watching the game in numbers is just playing straight into fishers hands.

It is not about watching the game for free it is to show them we are not going away.
I have yet to stay past half time (like to beat the rush)
Haven't been to an FA cup match this year but fuck it you have changed my mind may go to this one.

The main reason quoted not to go to Sixfields is to starve them out. People who attend have been called selfish, spineless for financially supporting the hedge fund.

There have been hundreds of posts with that view.

To then attend games and give significant revenue to the hedge fund is rank hypocriscy. You do realise if the club drew man utd away and sold the normal 10,000 quota the club would end up with more money in one fans than 8 at home?

And that is the position about 85% of the fanbase is taking. 100% NOPM is virtually impossible anyway. If you watch TV then you have a tv license, the BBC presumably have to pay for radio Broadcasting rights, so we all have to contribute something to Otium whether we like it or not. Plus a lot of CCFC fans will have Sky, again that is income going in some part to Otium.
I doubt if SISU are taking much solace in the fact that fans may travel in big numbers to an away cup match, they already know that the vast majority of fans won't and never will travel to Sixfields for a 'home' match.

Did you know all murderers ate breakfast? It's shocking and we should ban cereal immediately.

Or are you seriously implying football knowledge is in any way linked to beliefs on this whole mess.

Just in case you're serious about the whole "what me a WUM?" thing, can I just add my voice to those that finds your posting style intentionally offensive and often you yourself are guilt of taking threads well off topic before anyone else. So I find that claim a bit hypocritical.

Posting the opposite all the time isn't balanced debate, it's playing Devils Advocate.

I may go to Barnsley I am certain that sisu will not fund losses for 5 years and they are desperate for a breakthrough with the Ricoh. Think Christmas may be there timescale for making decisions. Will be interesting what happens in transfer window. Otium need to build trust.

It's funny how some people try to encourage other fans to go to Sixfields when they have various reasons for not going....then try and justify why people shouldn't go to Barnsley because they don't go to Sixfields.

Nothing to do with the team, all about point scoring over other fans.

There are some very sad individuals out there.

NOPM needs to be renamed, if only for Grendel's satisfaction. So may I suggest - CFOFSFROFATS - corn feed only for sisu from revenue obtained from away ticket sales.
Although the FA cup does allow a slightly more generous helping, it won't run for 23 games with our involvement.

I do not go on the hill to protest, I spend money at a restaurant before most games, the distance does not bother me to much but I will not go into a game at Sixfields, to me its just not right.
No problem with anyone who does go into the game, in fact I would encourage those with children to go.
To me and only me it's my own personal way of getting my City fix and showing our owners we are not going to fold and go away.

Why not join us on the hill on Boxing Day, you do see a great deal of the pitch, more than you can imagine?
