NOPM refers to attendance at Sixfields NOT away games. Is this concept too difficult for you to understand love?

I thought NOPM meant Not One Penny More to the club whilst we were at Sixfields or for some people whilst sisu are owners? If that's not the case why bother calling it NOPM?

It means not one penny more, going to Barnsley will be giving sisu pennies. Not really that difficult to understand once you get the jist of it.

Maybe we're not all boycotting Sixfields because of NOPM, but we just object to having our team moved 35 miles away.

That's strange. So you don't want sisu starved of funds you are quite happy that they will receive money?

He really does revel in it these days. My theory is that with traffic on the site down due to the relocation to Northampton, Nick decided to try and keep things "spicy" and interesting on here by re-modelling his persona into that of a total wanker.

supporting NOPM and attending away games (especially cup ties) is just like wanting your team back in Coventru yet attending games at sixfields hey nick?

NOPM is virtually impossible. That doesn't mean you can't support it in principle.

Next you will be calling the jimmy hillers names? give it a rest.

Someone is a wanker because they don't share your view on things. Great stuff.

Yes that is the pedantic meaning. Keep fuelling the divisions Nick. Crawl back into your trench at Sixfields and have a good Christmas.

The main reason quoted not to go to Sixfields is to starve them out. People who attend have been called selfish, spineless for financially supporting the hedge fund.

There have been hundreds of posts with that view.

To then attend games and give significant revenue to the hedge fund is rank hypocriscy. You do realise if the club drew man utd away and sold the normal 10,000 quota the club would end up with more money in one fans than 8 at home?

I'd challenge that assumption G... the reason I don't go is to voice a protest at SISU/OTIUM for taking us to Sixfield when there were alternatives offered- but not heard. Like many NOPM is somewhat of a strap line to the real intention a protest vote... I think you might actually hold the same view?

Are you using forum posts as evidence? Inspiring!

I am pretty sure it is the principal of playing at sixfields that people don't agree with. Whether that be by people saying NOPM or by saying im not going because its not in Coventry differs only by words rather than actions.

Some people have taken the full NOPM stance. Fair play to them. Some choose to go to sixfields. Fair play to them.

Attempting to mock a simple 4 word statement is like trying to pick faults with a nursery rhyme. It might make sense in your head ....... but seriously?

I understood that the home team kept all revenue. It was only in cup competitions that the revenue was shared. Maybe I am wrong?

Maybe but many have accused attendees of supporting them financially and many of those will support a cup run away from home.

If they got through and drew a big name at home and switched venues the objectors will all go.

Hate hypocriscy I'm afraid.

Grendel has a point. SISU would probably get more money for this game if there is a big crowd than a typical Sixfields game. The away team in the Cup get something like forty per cent. That's why both clubs have to agree on the ticket price.

Yes that is probably true. So does that show up a 4 word slogan or does that show up SISU who chose to play home games in Northampton?

That's probably correct. But lectures in the individual morality of each skirmish when the war is intrinsically immoral don't sit well.

If you'll forgive the military metaphor?!?
