[h=1]Man City striker Devante Cole joins
Barnsley on loan[/h]

Barnsley have
signed Manchester City's teenage striker Devante Cole on loan until 5 January.

The 19-year-old, son of former England and Manchester United striker Andrew
Cole, is yet to play a game for the defending Premier League champions.

He could make his Tykes debut against Coventry at Sixfields on Tuesday.

"What we've got is a highly-promising young lad who wants to start his league
career," boss Danny Wilson told the club website.

"He's had plenty of opportunities to go to clubs, but he's decided we are the
right one for him. We're very privileged in that respect.

Ignoring Brown (or apparently, including him) they've actually made some decent signings.

Still, we always beat Barnsley, right?

TBF, we did last beat them 8 months ago. Though after our firesale and their relegation, yeah, different squads. I thought we improved our squad on relegation and it seems they have too.

Is Cranie still playing for them? I look forward to the mis-spells of his name! It was good to have a Craine at centre half!

Cranie was shit but not half as bad as Matt Heath, remember him coming off the bench one game and playing up front. Sometimes i wander why i was so shocked when we eventually went down

Picture looks awful on my phone, but we're unchanged with Jackson on the bench.

@bfc_official: Reds team: Davies, Brown, Dudgeon, Berry, Nyatanga, Cranie, Treacy, Hourihane, Winnall, Bailey, Lita.

Digby, M'voto, Abbott, Dibble, Cole, Hemmings, Bree.

I make that 3 ex City players. Reece Brown, Cranie and Bailey.

Barnsley's full backs can definitely be got at, Reece Brown as we all know it pretty damn awful. Joe Dudgeon has missed a lot of football after a serious knee injury in late 2012, so should be a bit ring rusty.

I can't for the life of me figure out how McQuoid is keeping Miller out of the team
