It looked like Barca would run riot when they equalised, unfortunately foe them they've forgotten how to defend

This defending wouldn’t cut it at any level. And the keepers distribution around the box is awful...hospital ball after hospital ball.

City will give them a good game... Could well beat them as they press high and won't give them time... But its going to be one hell of a match if city get through too

I had a bet on 4-2 and Bayern to win BTTS, looks like 4-2’s never happening! I feel for Lewandowski he would have won the ballon d'or!!

I thought Chelsea looked like school boys against them but it seems Barca were like ‘hold my beer Chelsea, I’ve got you’

Barca in a proper Utd end of Fergie period. Ageing squad reliant on a few stars that are blocking any refreshing. If they were a PL team I’d be wondering if they’d finish too 4 next couple of years. Think they’re good for too 4 in Spain though.

They would I reckon, better than Chelsea for me still, I agree with the first part though

They are now but Chelsea are going to be better next year and Barca worse in my opinion.

Yeah Chelsea will be improving big time people are laughing at them still now in Europe but give it a few years! I rate Pulisic but he doesn’t seem ‘overly’ happy at Chelsea, I wonder if they’ll allow Franky boy to keep doing what he’s doing thoigh tot a few years.

Barca and Real Madrid are so over rated still due to their past achievements, with the money injected and the players in their squad falling at this stage should raise eyebrows! Zidane won’t make Real Madrid win a champions league again that’s for certain!

I smell match fixing, that's embarassing.

It should and could be at least 10.

Got to feel sorry for Messi (unless he has influenced who Barca have bought). Must be frustrating in the big games to have players so inferior to his ability in the side.

He's been just as poor as them all, can't go missing in big games

He didn't look interested in the slightest. Didn't even know he was playing for most of it.

Talking in general, Evo. Messi at his best couldn't have lifted that team to beat Bayern. Just feel sorry for him. Greatest player I have ever seen, so would hate to see whatever is left of his career in a struggling team.

Not the greatest for me but truly great players DO lift their teams to victory... They've won 1 champions league in around 10 years

Sorry mate, forgot about Julian Gray. Although, even if him, Bobby Moore and Ronaldo had played for Barca tonight, it still wouldn't have been enough.

While I agree in principle, big game players give you a chance

Now this is an entirely different argument based on natural ability and a trained robot... But Ronaldo has scored 67 goals in CL knockout stages compared to messis 47.... And that's where Messi falls short for me, its the same with Argentina too.. Batistuta betters his goal to game ratio.

For me, Diego maradona is the greatest player ever

Barca are absolutely past their peak, now and have been for a while. Think the same can be said about Spanish football in general, honestly. I can see France dominanting the international scene for the next few years. Bayern look like the leading force in the Champions League. It'll take some effort to stop them.
