Not only did they play fantastically well, did anyone notice that when they played in England for the final they also stopped all their famous 'cry-baby' diving on the field? That was also impressive for me....they can save all that BS for the Spanish League. What a team!

brilliantly efficient but don't excite me. Am I ill?

Think its because they are so good that I am not entertained by a no contest.

I am on record as saying that the 'keep ball' played so magnificently by Barca, and copied to a lesser extent by Arsenal, is nothing more than 'sideways' football. The difference with Barca (vs Arsenal's method) is that they can penetrate the defence with some amazing forward balls behind the back-four. As far as entertainment goes, I still liked the days when 4-3's and other high scoring games were the order of the day. I still like a lot of goals, which is perhaps since I came over here to Canada and watched some fantastic hockey games which generally have an average of 8 or so goals a game. I know it's a different game of course, but I tell ya, it's is THE most entertaining game on the planet, and also by far the fastest. It keeps you on the edge of your seat. Here in London, Ontario we have a sell-out every game at our London Knights Hockey Arena (John Labbatt Centre) of 9,600 fans....and this is to watch 16-19 year old kids play. How do we get the bums back on seats in the UK? Sorry but,........ more goals in my humble opinion.
