2 .5 years without a ciggy for me after smoking for 14 years

Best thing I ever did. Skins better, lungs clearer, don't need inhaler as much, and i don't fucking stink.

Honestly, you never realise how bad it smells until you give up and smell it in someone, makes me want to throw up now

I literally get changed into old clothes when I go to visit my Old Man it is that bad.

Just clings to your clothes and even if I’m just dropping his shopping in I come out stinking.

Sticking to a strict diet is harder than quitting smoking in my humble opinion .. smoking cessation is easy , quitting bad food , not so much

Agree, I quit about 6 years ago and I've put on about 3 stone. I'm more breathless now ffs.

Staying quit is harder than quitting smoking - I think it took me something like 15 attempts. Even having one now would get me back on them again.

Both diet and fags I’ve made changes for 6-9 months then fallen straight back.

Yeah both are really tough, I’m similar with alcohol - I have quite an addictive personality though. Smoking is mostly psychological after the withdrawal.

Same. Never been big on alcohol, but otherwise have a list of vices as long as your arm.
