Not really, he's out of contract in the summer, it's more his wages. I doubt he'll want £3k per week

Me neither. If I was on £5,000 a week I wouldn't give two hoots if the rest of the squad were on 3 times that. I would just want to play for the City.

And when they wouldn't pay me anymore and wanted to release me I'd be banging on the chairman's door saying I'd play for nothing!
