Great player (for L1) his assists from the centre midfield have been crucial and I think he is not that far off McG in terms of importance of signing. We need to sign good ol' James Bailey!

I think he is a very important player for us.
Will be happy if we sign him in Jan.

He is one of those players who make the game look easy, he strolls round the pitch effortlessly, whilst barely breaking sweat.
A classy silky smooth player, sign him up now, assuming Derby don't want him.

Believe he is due back at Derby after Preston game. Is that right?

He gets better with every game, McG aside he's easily the best loan signing by some distance. Plays at his own pace, seems to have time that other players just don't get.

I think we'd suffer if he goes back.

There's 3 very good loan signings in our team at the moment including Adams too. And add in moussa who's only on a short contract, I'd like to see them all signed up for at least the season!

I have been told Bailey's loan is with a view to a permanent, I don't know how solid it is though.

Moussa will sign a new contract IMO.

McG, hope he signs, but it's in his hands, I reckon we will put together a deal which won't be better what Forest, other champ clubs can offer him, but MAY be attractive in its own way (non promotion release clause, wage increase after promotion etc.), IMO.

Adams, love to sign him on a perm, can't see it though, got a great cross.

He's the expiry dates for the loan players

Henderson 22 dec
Bailey 27 Dec
McG 2 Jan
Adams 5 Jan

We will definitely be without Bailey for our away trip to MK Dons...that's a big loss.

Hopefully CT4 is fit and ready to play, and steps up. Some of the lads rate him, the Edj calls him Steven Gerrard on twitter (I think Cam, Willis and Christie do n all)

He's not going to be fit and ready, he's been out for nearly 4 months it will take him 5-6 games to get match fit.

There's the problem

Can we extend Bailey's loan/buy him?

Definately need to sign him up longer, either extend his loan until the end of the season or attempt to sign him permanently. Imo hes as important as McGoldrick to get signed up.

Ad we need to do something early in the new year as of our off field problems continue i can see another transfer embargo being put on us

As long as we get McG and Bailey (maybe Blair for rest of the season) I don't care

Me neither! Blair reminds me of Stevie Warnock so won't turn out too badly if his early appearances are anything to go by

Seen him for 1st time yesterday, quite impressed (worked Pompey, Morcombe and Sheff U games, PH :jerkit

I remember seeing Warnock, class for our level, shame he hasn't done much in his career bar 2 odd caps for England

Slightly bemused he did'nt respond to the crowd when trotting off to his ovation yesterday ,hope that does'nt mean he knows he wont be here come Jan.

When we first took Bailey and Moussa (having seen Moussa play three times in the flesh and because of my job, knowing some decent Derby fans) I was very confident they would be a better addition to midfield than Barton and Fleck and was roundly whipped by a fair few on here.

I stand by my obvious madness.
