just thinking,, yet another defeat at home to a team who we as supporters believed (and about 6 weeks ago expected us) to beat quite comfortably, with the way the team was playing.
we was all getting together for the jpt game and thinking about the playoffs and even ignoring what was going on off the pitch with sisu & acl - the sky was blue and all things were rosey the future seemed to have a nice white glow at the end of the tunnel.
my point is the players are mostly the same from the start of the season who were kicked up the backside and asked to perform with a bit of pride with a forward thinking manager.
why has lee carsley adapted a more defensivly & negative style of play that clearly did not work for him and shaw at the start of the season and although we did let in a few goals why did he not have faith in what was working well.
we seem to have come full circle in one season and now i think if any manager does want to come to our club and get us into the playoffs are we realy good enough to go up, revenue may help a little but whats going on now could we expect a better class of player who can perform in the championship with a view to improve. more twists and turns to come i think..... sad times
